Got a call from Vodacom for Fibre marketing in my area and as soon as I said I was not interested the, phone could not have been slammed down quicker! RUDE! Their service sucks and I would not recommend these non-professionals to ANYONE!
We have been supporting this company's products for over 7 years, only to recently find out that they have been cheating us with 0.5-0.7Kg of dog food per each 8Kg bag. No compensation available as company seems to have closed down. Contacts not working and their website has been completely de-registerd/offline. BEWARE! Shops like Pick 'n Pay still sell this product fully aware of these facts and still sell to you as customer.

The company is run by a handful of people, namely; Rory Albertyn, Lawrence Albertyn and Marius Louw. These people make promises and then gives you nothing more than excuses when they must pay your salary for which you have WORKED! Their word has no honour and they do not care one bit how much they hurt you financially. This is a criminal company operating in plain sight of the law and still getting away with theft. I might not ever get my months of owed salary back, but I will warn all who seek to do business with these corrupt individuals. Beware of Rory Albertyn, Lawrence Albertyn and Marius Louw - these people sell you lies and pretend to care.
Used their online services once and it was a budge-up deluxe! After placing our order, FOR DELIVERY, the system replied me with my order notice and reflected - for collection. So, I immediately phoned the Menlyn branch to inform them of the order notice that is reflecting as collection and not for delivery as I selected on the website. Firstly, they insisted that I selected incorrectly and was at fault. Secondly, they informed me that the delivery driver has already left - which was not time specified anyware on the website! I then request a refund as this order was already paid for - they did not "know how" to refund my card payment and so they insisted they will make a plan to deliver. An hour later (In total of 3 hours now) they phoned me, told me that they cannot deliver and will now refund me. Finally, with much MUCH effort we got our money back eventually. I will not support such pathetic service again nor even remotely recommend it. Fishaways, more like STAY AWAYS!
One of my clients has been with Afrihost for about a year, making use of their LTE Services which is originally provided by Rain. Now, it is not a matter there being NO Service, but what you get is almost as good as nothing. Weekends, Public holidays and afternoon periods between 4pm and 6pm are the worst - Barely any Internet! Support weekends? Forget it! There is NOBODY to lend assistance, for a 24/7 ISP this is COMPLETELY unacceptable. Even when not in peak times, no internet occurs regularly and this is terrible when trying to run an office from your premises. I DO NOT recommend Afrihost AT ALL - You WILL be throwing your money in the water and WILL regret it.
Till date I've done fairly regular business with Loot and must report that the service is excellent. Their platforms, both web and mobile, are well put together and processing is done with minimal effort. Should a problem arise with your order, it is addressed early by sales support in a very competent manner. Also happy that they changed their courier companies as orders are now properly trackable. Returns are a hassle free process. All in all, a very pleasant experience from start to finish.
