<p>We recently had the opportunity to visit the Victoria Falls, and to stay at the prestigious Victoria Falls Hotel. Not only was the hotel and the grounds beautifully kept, but the staff were exceptional. Although, there are too many staff members to thank, including the groundsmen, the room staff, the chefs, the security personnel, and all the support staff, I would like to extend a special word of gratitude to Bongani, one of the hotel managers and Leonard, our waiter at breakfast.</p> <p>Bongani was immersed in making sure that everything was perfect for us. His s****s and professionalism show the highest level of commitment to service excellence. He was most kind and also most involved in ensuring that the camera we had left behind, was returned to us. This shows the commitment and honesty of each and every staff member to its guests!</p> <p>Leonard was a mind-reader. We did not even need to mention what we needed, it was attended to before we could utter a word! We also loved chatting to him, his warm smile, and his attention to detail. Bongani and Leonard are the best of the best, and we thank them with all our hearts.</p> <p>We deeply appreciate the excellence in service, the smiles and the passion for the job exhibited by each and all staff members of the Victoria Falls Hotel. The top stars bestowed on the hotel are because of its exceptional staff.</p>
<p>Some travel experiences are so memorable, because of excellent service that they deserve to be publicised. This is the case with the staff of Shearwater Victoria Falls. From the time we were shuttled from the airport to our return home, and beyond, it is the professionalism and dedication individuals we met that we will remember. Sharon, welcomed us at the airport, and her efficiency and gentle mannerism, ensure that we were at ease straight away. She was also very knowledgeable and she was able to cater to all our questions and queries. She also ensured that the migration process ran smoothly, and that it was an efficient experience. Her smile also won our hearts.</p> <p>Back home, we were kindly informed that one in our group forgot a camera at the hotel in Zimbabwe. Once again, Shearwater Victoria Falls, with the assistance of Megan, from AndGo.com, helped us get the camera with our memories back. Our thanks and gratitude go to Trish Mambinge. Not only did she go the extra mile to get the camera, but in our meeting, she showed why she is an asset to her company, and also to her country. She articulated her thoughts about tourism, Zimbabwe and global affairs most eloquently. Her knowledge about regional events, economic situations and other topics was profound.</p> <p>I would like to extend my sincere thanks to these two wonderful ladies, and Megan from AndGo.com, and each and every staff of Shearwater Victoria Falls, who made our holiday so special.</p>

The experience was most pleasant, and I would like to thank Megan for her hard work and effort to ensure that we had the perfect holiday. Not only did Megan show her s**** and professionalism for the holiday, she went above and beyond the call of duty after the holiday ended. Back home, we were kindly informed that one in our group forgot a camera at the hotel in Zimbabwe. Megan’s continued commitment to helping us, and the generous assistance from Trish Mambinge of Shearwater Victoria Falls, ensured that we got our camera back. It is wonderful that dedicated staff work with passion for the tourism industry.</p> <p>I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Megan from AndGo.com and Trish Mambinge from Shearwater Victoria Falls, for everything they have done to make our holiday so memorable, even post the event.</p>
<p>For the last 8 months, I have been bombarded, on a recurring basis, by estate agents wanting to, and in some cases demanding that I sell my property. In other cases, I must do the estate agent's work to find them properties to sell in my neighbourhood!</p> <p>Most estate agents have named Lighthouse Property as their source of information.</p> <p>Not only is this a severe security issue, but it is unfair not to give the choice the property owners as to whether they want their personal details splashed to every estage agent seeking to buy this infomration. I have lost patience, and I am now fed up of recieving calls, and I expect my name and personal details to be taken off the database of Lighthouse Property; it is a severe breach of my privacy and my security.</p>
