I have Vodacom router at home I've had intermittent to no connection for the past 7 days. I've been able to confirm with the help of a Vumatel ANO That I'm able to get a breakout connection directly from the ONT to my computer. However, when trying to connect wireless via the Vodacom Router there is absolutely zero connection This means that the Vodacom router is dead and past its shelf life and that Vodacom needs to replace the router STAT. You can contact me directly to access my account with Vodacom and also to talk to the Vumatel ANO. Vumatel have gone above and beyond to assist me this past week, but Vodacom have failed dismally to assist me. To date I have not heard anything from Vodacom.
Good day all WITHOUT PREJUDICE My telephone conversation of 12 April with Ayanda refers I signed up for a fibre contact with Vodacom during April/May 2021 The initial contract that I signed was for 10/10 speed Last month I saw a substantial increase in my monthly contract subscription fee (I also have a cellphone contract with Vodacom) Hence the reason for my call over the weekend, as I'm not able to afford such substantial increase in the amount I was paying Upon searching through the documents that is on file with Vodacom, Ayanda discovered that the reason for the substantial increase in my subscription amount, is that the fibre line was migrated to a 50/50 line (now at nearly R900 per month compared to my initial subscription amount of R630) Furthermore, the only contract that Ayanda was able to find, is the original initial contract I signed when I signed up for fibre during 2021 for the 10/10 speed, no other contracts on file. 1. I never agreed to in writing to pay a higher subscription amount 2. I never signed any other contract besides the one in 2021 for the 10/10 speed. 3. I was never requested to sign another contract to replace the initial contract for the 10/10 speed, thus the initial contract together with the original subscription amount of R630 is valid. 4. The rule of contract law is based on consensus and consent. Thus the terms of the contract must be mutually agreed upon as well as the product and amount that is mentioned in the contract. Furthermore a contract is null and void if it was signed under duress or misrepresentation. In this instance the misrepresentation is that I signed up for a 10/10 speed fibre contract at R630 subscription amount per month, however Vodacom one-sided increased my monthly subscription amount and also migrated my package to 50/50 - terms and amounts I never agreed to Thus I terms of points nr 1 to 4 above, I formally lodge a complaint about the unauthorized migration that has taken place on my fibre contract over the past 4 years without my written consent and agreement. I request to be remedied and compensated for the unauthorized migration from the first unauthorized migration right through to the last most recent unauthorized migration for the monetary amounts that was more than the initial contract amount to which I agreed upon on the initial contract I signed during April/May 2021 Awaiting your prompt response I reserve the right to seek legal advice herein Kind regards Nadine Nel

I reported to Vumatel that my ONT was giving issues - intermittently reboots and goes on and off by itself. Within 2 hours they sent a technician to replace the ONT. Thank you Libs for sending the team so quickly. Thank you to the technicians Katlego and his assistant for rushing to assist.

Last Wednesday our fibre service went down We logged ticket with our ISP And followed up daily...nothing was resolved Today Ndumiso from Vumatel drove out all the way from Alberton side to Pretoria to assist us at nearly 9pm at night And finally after 6 days our fibre connection is restored My 5 star rating goes to Ndumiso for going above and beyond the call of duty Thank you so much
My fibre connection has been off since yesterday afternoon 4pm I've reported it 3 times to Vodacom already ( Vodacom has been amazing , if the problem was with Vodacom it would have been fixed already, unfortunately they can't do anything as the problem is with Vumatel) And in the meantime I have to purchase data at very high cost, will Vumatel reimburse me for that (I doubt) Just get my connection fixed Is it so difficult
