Rude admin staff
I recently used them to install a gas fireplace. Once the fireplace insert arrived, I noticed it was scratched and soon realised it was spray painted with hardware spray paint. The brief that was given to the sales person was not handed over to the installer( although the installer was a sweet guy and it wasn’t his fault.) I then asked him to adjust a couple of things and powder coat the insert. Within the 2 weeks it was then reinstalled. Payment terms are 90% to place order and 10% on installation. 2 days after the installation I was contacted by a rude receptionist who lacked complete professionalism, demanding why the balance had not being paid. Admittedly I was off ill and only really looked at the email on that day of the call. My issue is not the payment that needed to be made it’s the manner in which I was spoken to. The fact that they would make such an issue over a R2000 payment when I have already payed R19k is crazy. I’ve never been spoke to like that before. I have another fireplace to convert and will certainly not be using them.

Over charged for damages and blamed us for damages
<p>we recently hired a car from King Shaka in Durban. Upon receiving the car we did not double check the car scratches because the staff were assisting us with baby chair and we all got preoccupied. When we returned the car they noticed a dent above petrol cap. The issue is that it was physically impossible for us to dent the car as it was parked in a garage for most of the time and the only occasion we went out we parked against a pillar where no one was able to bump us. </p> <p>This dent was overlooked from previous driver and they are charging us for it. To add to that the panel beater quote came back with a paint job line item. My question is since when do you pain over a dent?</p> <p>we will never use Europe car again, they rip you off and the is no process to dispute charges and quotes. </p>
