A person should rather walk than fly airlink. Had a flight home to Jhb from Umthatha on a Sunday night. Flight time 17-40, eventually by 19-30 the flight was canceled due to inclement weather. The staff were soo unhelpful basically with a SORRY FOR YOU attitude. Everything at the airport was closed. Airlink didn't help with shuttles or accommodation and said we had to email customer service 🙄. Not sure how that would help. There was only an available flight 3 days later. Airlink wasn't even prepared to send the spare plane. Not sure what happened to all the ppl who had to start work the Monday and where would they get the extra money for the next few days. After renting a bus at a ridiculous price we drove home. Now it's time to talk to customer care. The entitlement and rudeness on another level, until she heard I was writing to hellopeter. @flysafair PLEASE get on that route!
I'm soo glad they are eventually getting rid of these government departments. They large lady in the collection of cards window must be the rudest most entitled person I've ever met. They forget they are doing us a service. The supervisor however was more accommodating. Pity there wasnt any minus ratings
