Last night we stopped over at Freshstop Aliwal North and I'm very disappointed by the service. Not only did we have to wait for over 30min for our order cz the chicken was finished but when we eventually got it, it was undercooked & very tasteless & also had a bitter after taste to it.
Last Friday night my hubby & I took our kids to this place & the everything from the service to the food was terrible. The waiter seemed not to have any interest in doing his job, the chips were so hard that we couldn't even use the fork, the ribs were tasteless and seemed like they were not freshly prepared. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement & I honestly would never recommend this establishment to anyone even if it was the last one on earth.
I'm on one of your buses traveling from Queenstown to Germiston and I'm really unhappy about your service. First the bus was delayed with no explanation at all & now the bus has broken down. Again no explanation from your drivers or any apologies. We're stuck in the middle of nowhere & I have two very young kids with me. This is the first & last time I use your bus.
On Saturday the 21st of April I went to the Pick n Pay Hyper at Eastrand mall to collect some pots under the sticker collection promotion that they are currently running. I was under the impression that i could collect two pots using the same card & i must admit it was my fault that i neglected to read the terms & conditions. However the cashier that had given us the card had also not told us that we can only redeem one pot per card. Upon getting to the kiosk i was then informed on how it works & i then tried to inform the lady at the counter about what i had been told earlier by the cashier but she would have none of it. I then asked her if she could give me back my card so i could get the other pot instead at which she rudely responded no. I'm not one who likes arguments or making a scene but I tried to argue with her but then another man who is also an employee jumped in & i was outnumbered. I'm disappointed at how rude those two were to me & all this in front of my toddler who i had with me which left me feeling so small & embarrassed. I don't think I'll be visiting this store anytime soon.
<p>I went to try and rica a sim that i had boight at another store at Pepcell in Eastrand mall only to be told by the cashier, Nokuthula Ndlovu, that they only rica sim cards bought in their store. I then proceeded to buy two sim cards, 1 Mtn for my father who is visiting the country & 1 Cell C as i wanted to do a sim swap. I gave her my passport & proof of residence so she could rica the sim cards. My father & i only realised much later that the sim cards were not registered & we were left strandedwithout any means of communication.</p>
<p>End of May this year i was unfortunately retrenched from my job. I then went to Edgars eastrandmall on the 3rd of June to submit my claim for the account protection plan. I received no feedback for a month and went i went back i was only told then that they needed an affidavit to state that i was still unemployed. I did that and the documents were sent. I then received a call from one of Hollard's agent asking for some more paperwork which i submitted same day. I received no feedback after that. After Edgars sent me another statement i called Hollard to enquire about what was going on & after being passed on to one agent after another i spoke to someone and it seemed my account was under someone elses name, she promised to find out & call me back which she never did. I went to Edgars & they were also clueless. We then sent the documents for the third time & to date there still hasnt been any feedback. It has been 5months since i submitted my claim,Edgars keeps sending me statements & im so sick & tired of going around in circles. I need this sorted out, surely you cant expect an unemployed single mum to waste whatever little she has to keep buying atym to call you. I will definitely be advising anyone from wasting their precious money with both Edgars & Hollard </p>
