A couple of weeks ago I have purchased some furniture from Cielo store in Brooklyn. I have received the tracking number from Skynet . For the past week, I've been trying to get hold of Skynet and Cielo to identify when my delivery would be done. Since then, it has been the most frustrating process ever. First, Skynet tells me my address is incorrect and they can't find it. I confirm with them that the original address was indeed correct, and the call center even looks for it on google maps and confirms that it was a mistake from their side. In order to reach to that level, I had to call them over 15 times. Second, I receive a phone call a couple of days ago at 5 AM from Skynet saying their delivery is on the way. The person calling me not only woke me up, but even mocked me when I complained about the time of the call. This is utterly unacceptable. Third,I receive another call at 6.30 am the same morning from a Skynet driver saying that he is outside. When I see the driver is not outside I call him back to realise that he has the wrong name, address and possibly the wrong parcel with him. Fourth, I keep trying calling Cielo to get feedback, my furniture or a refund but no feedback is received. They advise me to send them an e-mail which is never responded. I keep trying to call and their excuse is that they have not received feedback from head office. In parallel, I keep trying calling Skynet which continues saying my address is incorrect, which is not. All of my details are correct in the sales order I have done, including my address and telephone number. There should be no reason for this confusion, but Cielo and Skynet have been extremely incompetent in providing a simple delivery of furniture or just a simple reasonable feedback.
I've contacted the website http://acappliancerepair.co.za/ for repairing my washing machine and fridge. The same problem I had before continued, and after having returned it for completion of service, they have never returned it! It's been over 2 weeks now.

For over one month, I've been trying to apply for a month-to-month LTE contract with Telkom. For the past month, all I have seen was unhelpful and frustrating service from both the Brooklyn Mall branch and the Call Center. Several documents were requested, and no feedback from anyone for weeks. Then when I would go back to the branch, they would then say that there is new a document missing (there was always a document missing that they hadn't asked before). Yesterday, after two weeks of not hearing from them I went back to the branch. They told me that my application had been declined based on the fact that my passport number is not the one connected to my bank account. They kept saying that the documents I had provided were invalid, even though there has nothing wrong with it (i called my banker and confirmed that while still at the branch). I left and went back to my bank to get the same information, but even after my bank provided the same information as before, confirming my passport was the one linked to my bank account, the same staff provided me attitude, seemingly assuming that I trying to make some kind of fraud due to the fact that I previously had a different passport. Today, I go back there and my application is then declined for a completely different reason, where supposedly I have poor credit history. The lady that helped me starts with a highly condecending comment saying that if I had accounts in other shops, this wouldn't have been a problem. I guess my business is ok to have a contract with Vodacom, it is ok to have loans from different banks, it's ok to have credit cards. But certainly the type of attitude, unhelpful information, and humiliating service is not something I ever want to encounter again. This attitude of staff where instead of trying to assist potential clients, keep treating them as potential threats to the company and setting them for failure, never providing the correct information required. Also, the tone of voice where they make you feel as if you are doing something wrong, for me is not only unaceptable, but also shows an inherent distrust from this company towards foreigners (considering that their concerns are all related to specific issues related to the fact that I am a foreigner, it is safe to make that connection. Also their condecending conversations only makes you feel worse). This shows that Telkom is not a company that I don't want to be in any event associated with.
