Please watch out for Allie Alberts...this man has scammed at least 20 people I PERSONALLY know of and tried to scam me. Luckily, due to warnings on the internet, I was warned in time. He is the poster child of a narcissist and does not hesitate to scam even old people out of all they have. Please BEWARE.

HELLOPETER REVIEW PROCEDURE
I am giving an average rating to HELLOPETER on the grounds of the following when writing a review: I have had this experience writing a review on Hellopeter TWICE now.... I am logged in (in the top right-hand corner it says 'Hello, Lynette R'. I write a LONG review on a company and then click on 'PUBLISH REVIEW', after which I receive the message 'THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW' When I log IN again afterwards, my review that was published is nowhere to be seen when I search the name of the company - under my 'profile and reviews' it ALSO does not show. Thinking I did something wrong, I GO TO THE TROUBLE OF WRITING THE WHOLE REVIEW AGAIN, wasting another 30 minutes of my life, AGAIN publishing the review and AGAIN discovering afterwards that it does not show. Only THE NEXT DAY, as I check again, does the review show, TOGETHER with the SECOND ONE I WROTE AS WELL - meaning I wasted all that time searching for the review and writing the review AGAIN. Why does Hellopeter not have a message (after clicking on 'posting review'} that immediately pops up to warn the reviewer that his/her review will only show after a certain period of time? And that it will NOT show immediately??

HOTELBEDS is a DISGRAGE
In November 2019, I booked a holiday in Mauritius using the agency Travel Dreams. Unbeknown to me, Travel Dreams, in turn, used HOTELBEDS to finalize the booking at the hotel. I received vouchers from HOTELBEDS for the hotel-booking, CLEARLY stating at the very top, right under its name, BOOKING CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED. Seven months later, in June, I received notification that Travel Dreams had gone into voluntary liquidation due to the covid restrictions. I still had no worries, as the vouchers for the hotel-stay were CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED. A few months before the check-in date, something made me phone the hotel, who had NO BOOKING under my name. After months of phone calls and emails (THERE IS NO WAY A PRIVATE PERSON CAN CONTACT HOTELBEDS, they liaze strictly with hotels etc. only), by luck only I traced a person working for Hotelbeds through Facebook, who assisted me in establishing that Hotelbeds HAD CANCELLED THEIR 'CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED' vouchers (which surely means it was NEVER confirmed and guaranteed??) What is the purpose of GUARANTEEING something if it could be recalled at any given moment??? And, by the way, I (the client) WAS NEVER EVEN INFORMED OF THE FACT THAT THEY HAD CANCELLED THE VOUCHERS. As far as I was aware, my hotel-stay WAS CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED. What would have happened if I had turned up in Mauritius on the check-in date, only to be told that there was no booking?? SHAME ON YOU HOTELBEDS! The guarantees you so liberally hand out, is in fact NO GUARANTEE AT ALL...you care F-all for your clients, did not even bother informing me that there is NO VOUCHER ANYMORE. People, beware of ANY BOOKING MADE THROUGH HOTELBEDS. If you book a vacation through ANY TRAVEL AGENCY, make sure they do NOT USE HOTELBEDS as middle-man. Again, DO NOT USE ANY AGENCY WHO IN TURN USE HOTELBEDS TO FINALIZE THEIR BOOKINGS. They are a FRAUD, stating on their vouchers it is A GUARANTEED BOOKING. HOTELBEDS SUCKS BIG TIME. How does a company WITHDRAW A GUARANTEED BOOKING?????????? Furthermore, how does a company withdraw a guaranteed booking WITHOUT EVEN INFORMING THE CLIENT?????? I am SHOCKED and DISMAYED at their conduct. Insist on being advised of THE PROCEDURE that an agency follows making a booking on your behalf, and if HOTELBEDS is part of this equation, DO NOT USE SUCH AGENCY.

HOTELBEDS (TRAVEL INDUSTRY) is a FRAUD!
I made a booking in November 2019 for a holiday in Mauritius, using the travel agency Travel Dreams, who were paid the full amount. Unbeknown to me,they used a middleman, HOTELBEDS, to finalize the booking. I received vouchers from HOTELBEDS for my hotel-stay, clearly marked 'BOOKING CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED BOOKING'. Seven months later, Travel Dreams went into voluntary liquidation, but I was not worried as my vouchers from HOTELBEDS stated clearly: 'BOOKING CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED'. As the check-in date drew near, something told me to phone the hotel - to my SHOCK and HORROR I was informed there was no booking in my name. AFTER WEEKS of e-mails and desperate phone calls, I was informed by HOTELBEDS that they had withdrawn the vouchers - yes, the SAME vouchers that clearly stated 'BOOKING CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED'. Furthermore, they did not even BOTHER informing me, the customer, of this. HOW ON EARTH CAN A BOOKING THAT IS 'CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED' just willy nilly be cancelled???? This is fraudulent!! What is the USE of something being CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED if, in fact, it could be cancelled at ANY TIME??? Hotelbeds should be ASHAMED of themselves, to leave a customer high and dry. What would have happened if I had NOT phoned the hotel shortly before my check-in date???? What if I had arrived in Mauritius just to be shown away???? HOTELBEDS CARED NOTHING ABOUT THIS. They, without hesitation, went ahead and CANCELLED A CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED BOOKING!!! They are FRAUDS, of the highest degree and hide behind a wall of NO CONTACT WITH THE PUBLIC, they ONLY answer to hotels etc. whom they have contracts with. I was just lucky tracing an employee of HOTELBEDS who assisted me in finding out that the vouchers had been cancelled. Please, anybody using a travel agency to book a holiday, FIRST FIND OUT WHAT THEIR PROCEDURES ARE, WHETHER THEY USE A MIDDLE-MAN SUCH AS HOTELBEDS, and IF Hotelbeds are part of the equation, MAKE SURE NOT TO USE THAT AGENCY. They are FRAUDS and any business that they are involved in, should be avoided. I have ALL the proof of everything I have stated above.THE BOTTOM LINE IS, THEY CANCELLED A BOOKING THAT THEY CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED - FRAUDS!!!! Make sure your travel agency does NOT MAKE USE OF HOTELBEDS!
