If I could give a score lower than ZERO I would! What an atrocious experience. I booked a wine tasting for 5 people for 16th December well in advance and paid the full R800 on DinePlan ahead of time. This is to say, these people were definitely expecting us. When we arrived there were three people (one of whom looked like the manager) at reception who did not even acknowledge our arrival or our enquiries. They waved us off to seat ourselves, a guy came our table an rudely set down tasting menus without greeting. Then a woman showed up, poured wines without asking our choices, basically shouted at us when we questioned her and wanted to choose our own tastings. Oeverall Alleé Bleue's experience was disgusting and I'll have no problem warning everyone on social media or taking the Franschoek tram about their revolting behaviour.
I searched for a car online on a few sites and literally as soon as I closed my browser some sales person calls me. Tells me he can get me the car at a steel and have it delivered to me in Cape Town from Johannesburg within a day. Says his name is Eben Wood but PUSHY/BULLY should really be how he introduced himself. This guy wouldn’t let up, but poor old never-owned-a-car-and-just-got-her-license me, I don’t know ANYTHING about anything and I think “this is a decent deal on a car I like”. He calls the bank then calls me back and says “they’ve approved your financing but need R24 000 deposit”. *Laugh with me* I tell him I don’t have that kind of money on hand, he gets off the phone and comes back with “I’ve spoken to my manage and he’s made you a great deal with the bank, they’ll take 20k” LMAO at this point I should’ve know he’s a charlatan but alas. If I didn’t have 24k I wouldn’t have 20k, so he “goes back to his manager” and returns with “they’ll take 18k, and I think “whaaat?!?! That’s such a bargain from 24****”. I get a personal LOAN and pay Kia Imperial Northcliff and the paperwork commences. Long story short(er) I received the car on 01/09/2018. I was charged R3000 for delivery, but the car was driven to Cape Town, adding over 1000km/s so on receipt it was actually 121 000km. I was charged and additional R3 500 for registration, but when I needed to register, I hadn’t received the car registration papers, & when I asked they said I first have to roadworthy the car & I’d be sent the papers in order to get my licence disc and plates. I went to AVTS who said the car failed the test as there was no seat belt in the rear passenger seat, a headlight wasn't working & the driver's wiper blade was faulty. When I asked the manager Donovan Donovan Johnstone how they drove a unroadworthy car from Johannesburg to Cape Town, they said it roadworthy. Which was a blatant lie. I demanded that they be the ones to repair these issues and ensure that the license and registration is done. It took two weeks but eventually they got it done. On 29/09/2018 I found a R500 fine for the license disk not being renewed in April, attached to one of my wiper blades.Since I didn't even buy this car in Cape Town or own one in April. I was not liable for this cost and the dealership clearly hasn't done their due diligence, but the traffic department already had my address no thanks to MR EBEN WOOD himself. Fast forward April 5th 2019 when I take the car to get a 3Dwheel alignment & Supaquik can't rotate the wheels because they’re 6 YEARS OLD! So they refuse to rotate an old wheel to the front of the car because then the car will swerve from the front. The dealer is refusing to replace all the tyres even though it puts my life at risk to just drive now. I speak to Mr Donovan about this and he promises to replace the wheels “as an act of good faith” and that’s where it ends. I follow up a week later and he “no longer works there” so he directs me to a Ahmed Essa, who (if you can believe it) is even more nonchalant than Eben. I send him screenshots of the pending replacements and all he says is “this is issue was resolved what more do you want?” and in that moment I was dumbfounded. MIOSA refuses to let me return it because despite the fact that it took the better part of my late 20s to get ANY corporation from the dealership, they eventually did fix the seatbelt. It’s okay to laugh again here coz I did too. I’ve officially given up on trying to get anyone at Kia Imperial Northcliff to show any accountability. The fact is Eben Wood played time my ignorance and got me to buy a car I could’ve gotten for 50k less, for 200k second hand. Donovan Johnstone counted on my decency not to live up to “his word” (whateve that’s good for) and Ahmed Essa flat out avoided responsibility by claiming “wasn’t me”. So if you’re looking for a car, avoid Kia Imperial Northcliff and anyone named EBEN WOOD.

This **** you better not charge me for! This driver went right past me even when I waved him down.
Then he continued to drive around the block circle back to me and STILL DRIVE past EVEN THOUGH I WAD WAVING. Everyone looking on was hysterical coz he was the only person stupid enough not to stop even though he's in the area where he has to pick someone up!

So I better get my R25 back or hellopeter will hear all about this fiasco!
