Not happy with Uber service at all. So difficult to book an uber these days, waiting for ages, drivers cancelling after accepting a ride, twice now I was quoted a fee and then adjustment made after the trip for no apparent or valid reason. Now I have pending amounts/payments. Cars are not clean, drivers are not clean, cars are not in good condition, driver service most times so bad. Sometimes even expect us to open the boot and put in the luggage. Don’t even adjust seats to accommodate leg room.

Not happy with Uber service at all. Now I have pending amounts/payments. Cars are not clean, drivers are not clean, cars are not in good condition, driver service most times so bad. Sometimes even expect us to open the boot and put in the luggage. Don’t even adjust seats to accommodate leg room.

Why is uber one fares now so high everyday, why is Uber in and out of my account, I can't even control my account transactions because they are in and out every second and now it looks like a ****.. why is Uber loosing its professionalis...why why why...I want all my money back because now I dont know what is happening...they dont debit once. There will be a recurring amount, there will be a R10 that u dont know about, there will bring back and take every now and then and we end up getting confused like what the HELL

I left my jacket in an Uber on Saturday the 15th of March 2026. I contacted Uber and they said they will contact the driver of the car. They then sent me a message saying that the driver acknowledged that he had my jacket. What irks me is that they did not give me an option to collect my jacket but rather reviewed my fare to R132 after adding R90 for returning a lost item to me. My original fare was R42.

Review: 1 Star - Security Flaw & Unauthorized Charges Avoid putting your bank details on this app! I have had the worst experience with Uber’s security. My account was hacked and used to book trips in Parktown, even though I live in Cape Town. What makes it worse is that Uber claims these trips are coming from a secondary device of mine—a phone that has been broken for over a year. Even with a zero balance, I am getting charged "declined transaction" fees by my bank because of these *****ulent requests. Uber’s system failed to recognize this obvious suspicious activity. Do not link your cards to this app unless you want to deal with hackers and zero support for long-broken devices being compromised. Use at your own risk!

I had the worst experience on my uber ride yesterday.I requested a ride from Zambezi Junction to Kolonnade Mall and the driver arrived after a couple of minutes.On our way to Kolonnade his car ran out of petrol and he got out of his car and started pushing the car to Kolonnade.Imagine having to sit sit in a car while it’s being pushed.Along the way he stopped because he was tired.I had to hitch a lift to Kolonnade from a total stranger.My safety was compromised and guess what Uber did when I raised this issue with them? Refund me half of cost of the trip.That’s all they did after all I went through just to get to Kolonnade.
