If you would like to buy yourself some endless issues, go into partnership with Go solr. Right from the day of installation we have been battling. They promise you a saving of 80% on your electicity bill. So we signed up and the staff was so friendly. Two months later and our bill has increased from R2000 a month to R45000 a month. Based on their recommendations we opted for the medium package and now our panels generate a mere 1.2KW on average. We have the 5KW package. Please people, think twice before you go into contract with these people, we are in the process of getting legal involved along with carte blanch. These people has to be stopped. They promise a certain service and then people are so much worse off. It has to be stopped! They have to be responsible!
I am sharing our experience and then you can tell me if this is the level of service Gosolr had in mind for their clients and business reputation. Our installation was done on the 7th of May 2024. The next day we phoned in to raise concerns with regards to our battery not fully charging and out panels only generating 1.00KW in the middle of as sunny day. We were informed that this is a mere setting that has to be changed. So we waited for another day that takes us to the 9th of May 2024 where we had to phone in again to complain our battery charges to no more than 40% and our 8 panels together does not generate more than 1.00KW of power. They logged a call for technitians to come have a look at what the problem is and we were supposedly going to be contaced by te technician's or someone to confirm an exact time. We phoned in again on the 10th and they could not tell us when someone will be able to come out, confirming that the ticket has been logged. Monday the 13th we phoned twice with the exact same story. No one can tell us when we can expect service from them. This leads us to today 14th of May - Phoned again and I again received the exact same story...we will be contacted by someone but they cannot confirm when. They have been checking availability since the 9th. Me taking the time out of my working day to write this review must surely give you an indication as to how very frustrating this is to us. The service has been awesome up untill installation... I do not have words.
I wanted to check my credit score and had to pay for a report. Directly after paying I was informed that I had to verify my identity by sending in my proof of address along with my ID. How come they had me pay if I was not verified yet?? Is that not backwards?? First take your money then verify you?? I tried phoning the call Centre and after entering my ID number they hang up the phone saying I am not verified. I emailed my documents as requested and its been two weeks with no feedback and they are nowhere to be reached. What a disaster. Taking your money under false pretenses.
Vaal Networking has been our service provider for 6/8 months now. Three months ago we cancelled our subscription as we moved and our new body corporate will not give us permission to go ahead with instillation of their antenna. Since we have moved and cancelled our subscription Vaal solutions kept debiting our account with the R800 fee. The fee you pay when using their services, but in this case were not able to as it wasn't even installed (which they also charged us for so they were well aware) we have been phoning them constantly and it has come to a point where they tell me to phone the next day and when I do another lady tells me to phone in three days time to speak to the lady who promised they will not debit our account anymore. I am so sick and tired and this point they are passing the buck around avoiding to returning the three months of subscription fee they owe us.
