<p>So I’m sitting at work sipping on my cup of 5Roses, listening to the relaxing sound of the traffic (NOT) and wondering about the smaller things in life… You know.. Important things… Like, who named a fruit “orange”? Why do we love meat and braai’s? Who let the dogs out? Why do things come in packs of 6, 12 and 24 but not 18? When did Woolworths start offering credit cards? Have they become so expensive that you ned a credit card to shop with them? (Actually the answer is Yes, yes they have) Who the hell gave Woolworths my phone number? Why is there no Woolworths Financial Services page on hellopeter to complain to?</p> <p>See. <p>I have never had an Edgars account. I find Edgars expensive and the quality of service and products offered substandard. I do not give my phone number out as I do not want people like you spamming me with messages or phone calls or offers.</p> <p>A few months ago I started getting messages from Edgars on specials. Opted out of receiving messages. Despite having requested to not be contacted by you, I still receive spam SMS messages from you and Diect Axis for a loan or Edgars offering me ‘specials’.</p> <p>Where did you get my number and why are you still sending me messages after I requested you to stop (after never giving you my number)</p> <p>Do I need to change my name, number and hair colour to get rid of you or do I just have to a cult and cook beef at a vegan convention??? Cause right now, I will happily do that or take legal action to get rid of the spam.</p> <p> </p>

<p>I received a phone call from one of your robots (regarding funeral cover). As there’s no option to get it to not phone you I requested an sales call to have my number removed from your system. A few minutes later I was contacted by a gentlemen.</p> <p>At first he was friendly until I asked him to please remove my number from the system. He told me that I was contacted because of a message sent to them I explained to him I am not interested and would like my number to be put on a no call list or removed from the system if no such list was being used. He got extremely offensive and told me I was wasting his time and then hung up the phone.</p> <p>Real stellar service guys. Just awesome!!! I can see why your HPL index is only 2.8…..</p> <p> </p>

Discover adventure and smiles
<p>This weekend I had the most pleasant experience at Cape Union Mart East Gate when I went to collect my Cape Union Mart account card.</p> <p>I was assisted by Nthabi who was extremely professional, friendly and efficient. We were however placed on hold for a good 20min (booo!!) however in this time Nthabi kept me informed and apologised multiple times for the delay.</p> <p>Cape Union Mart, people like Nthabi need to be recognised and thanked for the super service they give! She is a true legend and start!!</p> <p> </p>
