Once bitten twice shy...bitten twice unfortunately. I blame it on the limited options we have in Herm****. Never even try to complain about bad or no service as owners and managers are more concerned on denying blame and protecting their staff than good customer service. I've been battling with my #OpelMokka for over two years now. And when you dare to complain you just run into a brick wall. Told me that they did not investigate my car properly as it would have taken over three hours. The person I took it to for a second opinion was able to slide under my car, take pictures and shown me there and then where other problems are. It did not take them two minutes. I rest my case.
- We phoned to book for repairs, nobody came back to us with a date! - After so many calls we were told that the car was booked the previous day, but nobody called to confirm the booking. We took the car in: - nobody accompanied us to walk around the car, like we are used to in Gauteng - we had to phone several times to enquire about the status of the job - nobody phoned to let us know when the car will be ready for collection, several calls again - after fixing the air con, there was a problem with the turbo the car had no power - parts replaced was installed sloppy and scew - when we called the workshop manager he had a very bad attitude, not even trying to apologize to us for being dissatisfied with the repairs. His attitude was that he has a workshop foreman to ensure quality.

They use every excuse in the book not to pay!! Very dissappointed in the personnel in their creditors department whom reckons that it is not their problem. Please ensure that if you offer accommodation to them that they strictly pay up front, else you are not getting paid

Thanks Imperial Toyota Parktown for really ruining my dream of owning this legend and breaking my 30 years of trust in Toyota SA.

They delivered this Fortuner to me with a bag of off-cut leather saying a mobile team will come and upholster the trimmings that's not complete. So I signed for the car to my bitter regret!

The handbrake did not work, bubbles in safety film, scratched interior parts, chips on the bonnet, badly placed number plate.
Next day I wanted to adjust the middle row seats for the kids and found bearings on the floor and the seat was stuck and couldn't move.

After all this I was nice enough to drove to a back yard Upholsterer which the sales lady suggested. This guy said there was no way he is touching this vehicle.

After me calling and emailing again I went to Herm**** Toyota and gave #Mccarthyautotrimmers' telephone numberto them. They called and said everything is arranged I'll just have to take the Fortuner to them and they will fix everything wile I wait.
So I drove to Cape Town and the lady inspected the car, and said no way they are doing anything before Toyota orders new seat frames because these are broken.
And I drove home still with hope that Toyota made a mistake and will sort it out, but this is starting to cost me money driving to Cape Town up and down from Herm**** and I have to take off from work.

Then my son got born, and we needed the car that we bought for a reason. And all family is flying to visit and whatever. Imperial Toyota Cape Gate said okay all we have for you is a Corolla. I said no thank you, it's too small and this is not my mess! So they decided to ignore me ever since. This was after Mccarthy Auto Trimmer wrote a whole report to them stating all issues.

Now Imperial Toyota Park Town is stating that I did not give them the opportunity to fix the car and aren't prepared to reverse the buy. And I'll have to now pay off a Fortuner that's falling apart!
After I called head office and all the bosses are to busy to speak to me.

Thanks for nothing!! Toyota Toyota USA Toyota Global

After 3 weeks that Imperial Toyota Parktown have collected my car and did promise me they will fix everything. Before that it took me 8 weeks + to just get them to do something, they wanted to deliver it to my house and I said no I'll go to Herm**** Toyota and inspect it first. Well there's now more damage than before!! Thank you Toyota SA for zero support in this matter!! And don't comment as if you tried to contact me and make as if I'm the one not responding! Get a senior person to call me! Ask Lorrian Moulton at Imperial Toyota Park Town for my number! Please keep in mind this is a brand new Fortuner cost R502 000.00
NO COSTOMER DESERVES TO BE TREATED THIS WAY!!!
