Over the last week or so, I have been inundated with calls from companies wanting to sell me insurance on a car I don't own yet (busy with application process). At long last today one of the callers was able to tell me that they got my information from Blue Label Data Solutions. It should be noted that I distinctly and specifically indicate on all my finance applications that I DO NOT want to be contacted with marketing information. I have been trying to get hold of Blue Label to ask them to stop selling my info. The phone is answered by an employee for Blue Label Telecoms, who then transfers one to an extension for Blue Label Data. No-one answers at the extension. One would imagine that I could unsubscribe online. Yes, they have such a function on their website, but my ID number is a required field and I do not want to type in my ID number on random websites. Hence attempting to contact them by phone. I want to know who sold my data to Blue Label and I want Blue Label to stop using my information to enrich themselves.
Someone I know got a welding machine for his birthday. I know him well enough to know that he is not an expert at welding, never having had any form of training in this. Being a proponent of "that's what books are for", I ordered a handful of books on the subject from Loot.co.za. Imagine my humiliation when I visited their house this past week and he showed me the books. Little 'booklets' with minimal information, horrid grammar, no drawings or photo's. I believed that Loot would accept responsibility for curating products offered for sale on their website, but clearly I was very, very wrong. And now the supposed return process does not word PLUS it appears they expect me to bear the cost of returning these substandard products to them. I cannot in good conscience recommend Loot.co.za to anyone.
In 2019 I was finally in a position to start working at creating an income stream that served me and my hopes for my 'golden years' rather than the safe, secure income streams that a parent has to maintain for the sake of her children. I was not sure what I wanted to do, but I knew it had to be a world removed from the accounting processes and software I had been working in over the last few decades. I had a vague sense that I would enjoy something that built on my experience around website design, something a bit creative. I also had a slightly ambitious hope of whatever new direction I took being something that allowed a bit of location freedom - I want to travel around the world, but could hardly see myself taking 3-month holidays to do so - having 'a job' that I could do from Mauritius or Rome or Managua with equal ease sounded like heaven, even if I was not sure it would be remotely possible. Happening across one of Niel Malan's ads on YouTube was one of the best things to ever happen to me. It was not easy to enroll for the Agency Fast Track course - it is not cheap and the time one is required to commit to your own success is significant, but I have not had a moment's regret. The team took all the time I needed to get my questions answered before I could make the commitment and they have given me support along every step of the way. I am not quite finished with AFT, but I have completed Digital Roadmap, which in itself is a very valuable mini-course. If you know that you need to make a change in your life, but are not quite sure what that change should be, I would urge you to complete Digital Roadmap. The options and ideas Niel discusses are very helpful in clarifying opportunities that exist, that you might not have come across or really considered viable before. I have also been fortunate enough to be in the program at the time Elite Inc launched their very own software product, Elite Funnels, which is an incredibly useful and powerful alternative to the funnel builder which I initially started my AFT journey on. The fact that it is (1) more than a funnel builder and (2) significantly cheaper than the alternative does not hurt. The only reason I am writing this review from the boring 'safety' of my lounge is because we are prevented from travelling by the lock-downs around the world; a year from today, I will probably be doing exactly what I'm doing now, but in a more exciting, more exotic location.
I love Granny B Chalk Paints. The product is really easy to work with, cleans easily and leaves such a luxurious finish. Their service is impeccable, I love that I can order from their website today and receive my paints as soon as tomorrow.
From being a very happy client, I have moved to the very opposite of the spectrum. If I could switch my service to a different provider this very minute I would. When people hear what I pay for my service, they are astounded because I should be able to get the same elsewhere for half the price, but I used to be okay with paying a premium because I got service. However, for a company of Bronberg's reputation to not have made provision for loadshedding to not affect their paying clients is unacceptable. Add to that the 3 different stories one gets from 3 different technical consultants, and I am breathing fire! And one cannot talk to anyone with authority, the poor technical 'experts' have to try and appease one when they actually have zero authority to do so.
