In March 2019 MWEB sent Telkom a request to cancel my ADSL line because I upgraded to Fibre - I received a reference number from MWEB for the cancellation request. In April 2019 I received another statement from Telkom and when I phoned them to query the invoice, they had no request for cancellation. I went to Telkom, Woodlands branch where they requested a cancellation and gave me a case number. That same day I phoned Telkom and I was told that the request has not been processed and that it would be better to log into my account and cancel online which I did. While having customer care on the line I cancelled my account, the operator told me that the request for cancellation reflects on the system and gave me another reference number. Two weeks ago I received an SMS which said my case was resolved. Today, I received another statement. When I phoned them to query the invoice and why my account/landline wasn't canceled, the operator told me that the order for my account/line was stuck (What the F%#@& ever that mean) and that it was not done and I was yet again given another reference. I kept on paying my account every month!!! I will not make any further payments to this account
SPM 430337 19/03/19 I was involved in an accident with one of oxford claims and legal services insured last year September (2018). I was standing still at a red traffic light when their insured failed to stop and rear ended my vehicle (C/O Modderfontein and Ysterhout Road - Norkem Park). The oxford claims and legal services insured that drove into my vehicle filed the accident report at the police station and in the report admitted that he failed to stop and drove into the back of my vehicle. After numerous e-mails and transfers from one incompetent consultant to the next they eventually informed me today, 6 months later that they deny liability for my claim/damages because I overtook their insured and our vehicles were to close to each other and collided - what a joke!! There must be some kind of legal action we can take against the unfair and dishonest management of this company??
