I since lodged a ***** query with Postbank since 08th January 2026, unfortunately to this day nothing has come forth, no response to the endless emails sent to them, a Postbank agent at Pick n Pay gave me a number to call but even that number doesn't go through. It seems this is their strategy to frustrate their clients in order to give up and stop following up on their monies. It is not fair that a pensioner has to lose their money in the hands of a bank they trusted and they don't give a damn about it.
***** happened in my uncle's Postbank account on the 19th December 2025, money to an amount of R4 800 was withdrawn at FNB Durban while the card was in my uncle's possession in Joburg. My uncle is 82 years old and that was his Sassa pension money ******. A query was sent to Postbank on the 08th January 2026 for investigation and for them to psyback since they are the custodian. Again on the 15th January 2026 a follow-up email was sent but to date Postbank has never bothered responding to any messages sent to them. I suspect Postbank is used to robbing people like that, for the fact that they are keeping quite despite the query and theu don't have respect for their customers.☹️☹️
Very unhappy with the service and the staff attitude from Nedbank Dobsonville mall. First of all their queuing system sucks, we 1st get to queue at the door before we could be let in and the sad part is that even the elderly people are given same treatment, they don't care. Then eventually they will allow you in but still sort of queuing 2nd phase and be kept waiting again, until when getting to 3rd phase only then you're given the queuing ticket number. After that long wait and being called next, you get a grumpy consultant who would hardly greet. After processing the query they promise they will call in 39 minutes and they never do. They are giving a sub standard service maybe because they are dealing with majority of people coming from the township and yet they forget that therefore fee we pay is the same everywhere. I'm contemplating closing my account with Nedbank, their service never improve.
I am very dissapointed with this company after I bought some stock from them and it happened that I have stock that was in excess and I returned it back to them on the 08th October. I was assisted by a lady named Rebecca who promised to escalate to their head office for my refund, but to date I haven't received my refund and yet the company received their stock already. Rebecca doesn't take any initiative to contact or give me any updates, i am the one that always have to call or send endless emails begging for my refund. I think they are ****mers coz I can't understand what is taking them forever to process just a credit.😠😠
5 days ago I sent an email to Trumpsfood complaining about their product I bought that it did not have an expiry date so I'm very skeptical to even open it for use. To date they never bothered responding, clearly they do not care for customers and one wonders why put your contact details on your packages if they are not interested. They seem to forget that me buying their product is supporting their business to grow but they don't give a damn about their customers.
It is a shame that Pick n Pay stores mostly in the black communities do not have packers and always expect their customers to pack the stuff themselves. Unlike in the white areas, Pick n Pay employ adequate staff because no white person is expected to do the packing bt the same value is not given to blacks. I know Pick n Pay head office is very much aware of this trend and obviously doing nothing to improve the service provided to blacks yet we make the majority of their customer base. I am specifically raving about this bad service from the Dobsonville mall Pick n Pay, where even pensioners are made to pack for themselves even mothers with babies. There's not even a dedicated till for such vulnerable people. Staff is never friendly and management is hardly at the customers face. I'm appealing that head office attend to this ill treatment to your customers. We as customers cannot spend our money at your stores and be made to pack for ourselves as if there's a benefit on that, we are customers and not employees of Pick n Pay.
Eskom doesn't give a damn about its customers, actually black customers to be exact. They have now started a habit of a 7 hour loadshedding or load reduction (for a lack of a better word), I'm not not sure if other areas do experience same but we are Braamfischer ext2 and other parts of Dobsonville are being subjected to such misery. How are we expected to carry our activities especially it's a weekend were most black people have funerals especially. This is serious torture honestly, Eskom jst dont give a **** nje and this is becoming a norm. Then how do Eskom even expect to have a good relationship with us, which is the reason most people have the don't care attitude towards paying because even some of us that do pay, we still dont get the service we are paying for so what's the use then.
I'm very unhappy with the way Eskom is failing us especially in the townships. I reside in Braamfischer ext2 and we have not had electricity and it has been more than a month now. Each time we log a call, then technicians come, we are told the problem has been resolved yet not until such time that we are told about a transformer that needs replacement. We are told it could take a year or so to resolve that and the question is why? We are desperate as some houses have Covid19 patients and how are they expected to recover. Again some households only have females and it is not safe because these thugs take advantage of such situations, we can all get ****d (including my 3yr old grand daughter) and we can never be able to call out for help when in the dark and phones off. Some have to work from home and obviously that's impossible. Neighborhood has even resorted to seeking legal intervention, which will be costly but because there is a lot at stake we have no other alternative. Can Eskom please hear our plea urgently.
I am very much concerned and worried about this loadshedding Eskom is subjecting us to, it is very absurd and annoying because it seems like it's only for a selected few. Why is it that Eskom can't share this burden fairly amongst all the areas, how come that we get to experience 6 long hours of loadshedding, how possible is that or what actually motivates such long hours? The saddest part in all this is that, we get to suffer and experience burglaries in our homes during those long hours of darkness. For instance in my household it is only myself, my 2 girls and my grand daughter so imagine if these guys break into our house and raping all of us in that darkness, because the worst thing us that, during the loadshedding unfortunately even the network stations seem to be off so there's no way one can even call for help, like there's no lifeline at all it's very unfortunate. My niece has a cocliar so her hearing is dependent on the very electricity since her batteries have to be recharged daily, so with 6 hours of no power clearly Eskom is violating her hearing. She's in grade 7 and will soon be expected to return to class, how is she supposed to cope in class and go by her day. I'm not sure what stage loadshedding is this but in my view I think Eskom is taking advantage of disadvantaged areas because if it was a countrywide problem, every area would get a fair share of power cut because we do understand the challenges that it's faced with. Unfortunately if it's a matter of non payment then how come we all get to be painted with the same brush because in my area particularly (Braamfischer ext2) we r buying our electricity. I am therefore pleading with Eskom to please re look at their timetable and reschedule accordingly, in a fairly manner and that will cut down loadshedding long 6 hour time to atleast 1 to 2 hours at most. And maybe will experience a fewer loadshedding than we are currently experiencing about 3 times a week of 6 long hours shedding. Eskom.must please come to the party and stop this nonsense on black people .
Today I went shopping at Pick n Pay Dobsonville mall and was confronted or rather experienced an extremely bad service from an extremely rude till operator. This woman doesn't deserve to be part of the organization her attitude is very toxic for the business. Her name is K****tso Sekhodiso, she actually shouted at me to the top of her voice in front of all the other customers including her senior/supervisor. The reason she was rude to me was that i had actually put my 3 items on the counter already and she says I should have waited for her to call me instead of me being forward like that. When I reprimanded her that she cant talk to me/customer like that, she then threatened to skip me and promised me to just leave me standing like that while she assisted the customer after me. She called me all sorts of names and when I reminded her that I was a paying customer nd paying her salary, she told me she doesnt give a damn with the R75 that she's getting at Pick n Pay. When I finally left the counter as if that was enough she lastly told me I should go and do my hair instead if coming to be a nuisance. My concern is poor management at these township stores, the staff behavior is pathetic towards customers and they never will greet you, and worse they won't even pack your stuff, expecting you do it yourself and management does nothing about that sort of behavior. Now all this burden of poor management gets to be carried by us paying customers. If Pick n Pay is not going to take further steps for such uncalled behavior they will find themselves without a business in most black areas.
