Peter Bergel ****med us last September - left us with a R25000 bill to get home from Europe. Watch out for the lack of paperwork to support the bookings he says he makes. He's full of promises and regret, but don't count on getting anything back. I was disturbed to see he was still ripping people off in February; my lawyer couldn't track him down about then to serve a letter of demand.
Don't be fooled by any warranties they offer. Whatever goes wrong is bound to be your fault, not theirs, and a lot goes wrong. The Helderberg franchise, run by Rene du Preez, will leave you in the lurch every time. The director/franchisor, Pieter Janssens, is arrogant and dismissive and together they will walk away from any problem you have. Never again!

Expect the worst if you have the poor judgment to buy from this outfit. Always three layers of separation from anybody who can make a decision, no concept of programme or logistics. But that's the good part; the product itself won't last more than 4 years and you can forget about the warranty. Delays, ducking and diving and finally denial. I took my case to the industry's ombudsman, but they were suspended from SESSA two years ago, so I'm on my own.
