<p>I BOOKED 2 APARTMENTS AT CIRCA SO CALLED LUXURY APARTMENTS IN CAPE TOWN ON BOOKING .COM FOR 5 DAYS . THE DAY WE ARRIVED WE WERE TIRED AND WANTED TO RELAX AS IT WAS COLD I PUT ON THE EXTREMELY NOISY AIRCON INTHE ROOM AND MY SON SAID HE WOULD LAY DOWN IN THE LOUNGE AS HE WAS FEELING TO HOT TO SLEEP WITH THE AIRCON ON ,IMAGINE MY SURPRISED SHOCK WHEN THE SLEEPER COUCH COULD NOT OPEN,I IMMEDIATELY FONED RECEPTION ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT I HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL R300.00 A DAY FOR THE USE OF THE COUCH WHICH WAS LOCKED I FOUND IT TO BE UTTERLY RIDICULOUS AS I PAID FOR THE WHOLE APARTMENT.THE NEXT DAY I WAS SENT ANOTE INFORMING ME THAT THE HOTEL HAD TAKEN OFF R500.00 BECAUSE I WAS SMOKING IN THE TOILET,I WAS VERY UPSET AND WENT TO SEE THE SO CALLED MANAGER .HE WAS VERY RUDE AND ABRUPT AND REFUSED TO HELP WITH THE ISSUE OF THE COUCH AND FOR TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION,I PLEADED AND REQUESTED A REFUND SO I COULD BOOK AT ANOTHER HOTEL WHICH WOULD BE MUCH MORE HOSPITABLE AS I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AT CIRCA BUT HE REFUSED.THE CLEANING STAFF JUST ENTER THE APARTMENT WITHOUT KNOCKING EVEN THOUGH I HAD ONLY A TOWEL AROUND ME AS I HAD JUST COME OUT OF THE SHOWER,THEY DID NOT EVEN APPOLOGISE ,MY BOOKING HAD BREAKFAST INCLUDED ,AND THE SELECTION LEFT ALOT TO BE DESIRED,BUT THE 2 DAY I WAS TOLD TO PAY FOR BREAKFAST WHICH I REFUSED AS IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE I PAID,THE PARKING WHICH THEY CHARGE AN EXORBITANT AMMOUNT FOR IS EXTREMELY STEEP AND DANGEROUS TO GO IN AND OUT OF. I PHONED BOOKING.COM WITH MY COMPLAINTS WHEN WE GOT BACK AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD INFORM ME OF THEIR FEED BACK .I AM STILL WAITING A MONTH LATER WITH NO RESULTS.I HAVE STAYED IN HOTELS AROUND THE WORLD IN OVER 25 COUNTRIES AND THIS HAS TO BE THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD.PLEASE DO NOT BOOK AT THE CIRCA APARTMENTS ITS A BAD EXCUSE FOR A HOTEL IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.</p>
<p>I HAVE 2 ACCOUNTS WITH TELKOM .FOR THE PAST 7 WEEKS IM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY DATA ACCOUNT,I LOGGED A COMPLAINT BECAUSE I WAS NOT RECEIVING ANY INTERNET CONNECTION OR WI-FI WHICH IM PAYING FOR.AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS THEY TOLD ME THAT THE MATTER WAS UNDER INVESTIGATION, FOR LIKE 2 WEEKS.THEREAFTER I RECEIVED A MESSAGE TO SAY THAT THE CASE HAS BEEN RESOLVED BECAUSE THEY TRIED TO CONTACT ME AND I WAS UNAVAILABLE. I IMMEDIATELY PHONED TELKOM AS I WAS ON A PLANE AND COULD NOT ANSWER, SO HOW COULD THE CASE BE RESOLVED WHEN THEY ONLY TRIED ONCE TO CONTACT ME.I WENT TO SOUTHGATE TELKOM TO GET SOME ANSWERS BUT THEY WERE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL,I THEN UPGRADED MY DATA TO A NEW CONTRACT WHICH TOOK ALL OF 3 HOURS THINKING IT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM,BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE THEY HAD NO SIM CARDS IN STOCK ,THEY ASSURED ME I WOULD GET A NEW SIM THE NEXT DAY,I WENT AFTER 3 DAYS AND THEY STILL COULD NOT HELP,I REQUESTED THAT THEY DELIVER MY SIM CARD AS I COULD NOT GO UP AND DOWN WASTING MY TIME AND PETROL FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE. NOTHING HAPPENED SO I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER OF THE DATA DIVISION EXPLAINING MY ISSUE AND THAT I WAS FED UP OF TELKOMS ATTITUDE HE PROMISED TO HAVE THE SIM SENT TO ME WITH NO LUCK.I EVENTUALLY BOUGHT A SIM FROM A PICK N PAY AND PHONED FOR A SIM SWAP WHICH WAS DONE ,ONLY TO HAVE IT WORK FOR A FEW HOURS AND THEN WAS OFFLINE AGAIN ,NO INTERNET NO WI-FI.I AGAIN LOGGED A COMPLAINT THE TECHNICIAN SAID THAT THEY DISCONNECTED MY SIM WITHOUT TELLING ME BECAUSE IT WAS A 2013 AND I NEEDED A 2016/17 SIM ,THEY REFUSE TO HELP ME , OR TO REFUND ME AS I HAVE NOT BEEN USING INTERNET FOR ALL THIS TIME,IM AT MY WITS END AND WOULD RATHER CANCEL MY CONTRACT THEN DEAL WITH SUCH A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE,I HAVE HAD THIS CONTRACT FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS AND THIS IS THE TYPE OF EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE.PLEASE DO NOT USE TELKOM THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT CUSTOMER LOYALTY.THE CALL CENTRE STAFF NEED TO GET LESSONS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AS ALL THE MANAGERS.</p>
