Active since Nov 2016
Currently admitted at Netcare Rosebank as of 15/07/24, my bed was not changed today 16/07/24. The nurse put a drip on the hand that I use, I could barely do anything, I can’t bend my right hand. I’m 24 weeks pregnant + epileptic but I have to constantly remind the nursing staff not to close the door as my seizures happen when I’m asleep. When you press the bell, they take around 3-5 minutes to respond. I could be having an emergency for goodness sake. It was my first time being admitted here and I can safely say that I can’t give birth here. This is definitely the worst service I have received whilst in a private hospital
Had uncontrolled seizures since 2015. I would have episodes every month. I was reffered to Dr Makasi for a 3rd opinion by a friend. My seizures have been undercobtrol since I started seeing her in January 2020. Even when my medical aid hadn't paid and demanded she sign a million forms, she and her Team Tumi and Mpumi worked tirelessly to assist.
I waited on the phone for over 15 minutes while the pharmacist lumnka and her colleagues were chatting and laughing. The next thing I was told my meds would be ready by tommorow which couldve been avoided. The service was very poor as the managers were not helpful either
