I took an insurance with oakhurst since October 2016. As a first time car buyer I told them that The car I bought I will use it for private use but I will also transport children to school. They are the ones advised me to take this insurance but failed to disclosed certain aspects about their cover.

They never told me that I need to make sure that I have an operating licence to ensure that I have a cover. Otherwise I would have done that or even cancelled that policy with them. I have been paying so much high premiums with this insurance only when I have a problem to be told that my claim has been declined because I dont have an operating licence. When the problem happend I was not taxing with my car and have not been taking children for a while now. I took this cover as extra precaution so I wont have a problem like this one .

Oakhurst insurance have failed me. After 3 weeks they towed my car I had to constantly follow up with them. To show how unethical they are they told me last week thursday that they are busy trying to get a quotation for my car. Today When I phone they tell me they have declined my claim.

I would not advise anyone to take up an insurance with oakhurst, they are basically thieves they stole a lot from me. I have been paying them over R1500 every month for what?

Extremely dissapointed with Oakhurst insurance.

My car broke down this time it broke the fanbelt FAW Sirius S80. The same car stayed with the Randburg branch for over two months with the gear problem, when I got it back it already had the noise of which when we asked the mechanic there about it told us its the fanbelt but it wont cause any damage. They noticed the problem but could not sort it out, that is the incompetence of Randburg. Glad that branch is closed down.

With all the drama I lost hope with Imperial select. But now would like to clap my hands for the Roodepoort branch. They managed to fix my car within a month with all the China drama. And what I love most they managed to get two of the parts that were needed but one was missing, because they were keen in doing the proper job they could not do half job with the parts they had but tried all they can to get the full package. Thank you so much guys for the good job well done. Keep up the good work.

Thank you.

My car is been with them for a clutch fork for over 3 months now, they waiting for the part to arrive from China. They cannot give out even a Curtesy car . I would like to advise anyone who is considering buying these cars they have absolutely no parts in SA. They are thieves stealing our monies selling us things they know we wont be able to use for long and they cannot fix them. I

It has not been a month since my car which was less than a year old locked gears and was repaired .

My car was repaired last month after I waited for a month for it be repaired because the parts were in China my car is FAW Sirius S80 1.5 seven seat.

I cannot believe that within one month I had that problem for gears with my car it has done the same thing again.

I towed it back to the dealer Imperial select Randburg, and today is the third day my car is there with them. They cannot tell me when will they repair my car the only thing they can tell me is they waiting on Warranty.

Why did they do half job to begin with last month?after I waited for it to be fixed the whole month .

Does this mean every single month I will have to take this car to them for the same fault? never seen such incompetency?

When will they fix this car this time as they cannot provide me with exact date?

Everytime they keep my car with them I incur extra cost as they do not give out the curtsey car.

Why does Imperial allow to sell such low quality cars to the people, cars that they cannot even fix? I am so dissapointed with all this and angry at the same time with this, that every single month I will have to bring in this car for repairs for one and the same thing.

Hi there

Kindly assist me here with a matter I have regarding a car I purchased from Imperial Select about a year ago.

My ordeal started on the 3rd of November this year when my less than a year old car broke down an FAW Sirius S80. I had it towed to the IMPERIAL SELECT centre in Randburg for repairs. Upon their initial inspection they told me it was a clutch problem, it was surprising since the car was still technically new. A day passed and they came back and told me cylinder needs to be replaced. Now this was shocking for a "new car". I asked them when will it be replaced and have my car back, they told me that they don't have the parts here in SA and they have to be ordered from oversees, which might take 21 days to reach here.

I then requested a courtesy car in the min time then, to which they refused. I was in protest over this since my belief was that this was poor workmanship and quality of their products, so I took the matter to their head office AMH and there was no assistance. The lady there at customer care by the name of Ororiseng Moloisane told me that upon her enquiries she found that my car parts will arrive on the 25November, Come 25 November I enquired with no responce from her. Only yesterday she responded saying she have no idea on when my car parts will arrive. When I enquire at the branch they also dont know

I have been without my car since 20 May and everytime I ask for feedback I'm told they are waiting for China to get back to them, yet when I ask them when are they expecting to have those part in SA they tell me they don't know saying it might take another three weeks.

Now I don't know how AMH or IMPERIAL SELECT conducts their business but certainly logic tell me if I order something from wherever, there will be some indication as to when I'll have it, in this case IMPERIAL SELECT doesn't know. I've tried a number of times to escalate this further to senior management and failed, seems like it all fell over deaf ears.

I appeal to you to assist as a result of this I've lost so much . I've accumulated too much debt now as a result of hiring a car and I believe I should be compensated for this.

Please intervene, I need my car back, every month I'm faced with paying for instalments and insurance for a car I have not used.

This company manufactures and sells poor quality cars and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy your cars.

Last year October I bought a Serius S80 brand new and this year in October 2016 the car broke down and had to tow it to the service centre. The problem I had encountered was that it wasn't selecting gears, I took it in to their Randburg branch and they told me all is sorted. On that very same day they made it worst the gears completely locked. I had to tow back the car to them the following day. When they checked it they first told me it was clutch , and I had suspected that too.
To my surprise, they came back the next day and told me it's the cylinder which is damaged . Now already I'm shocked as to how can a brand new car with less than a year already have clutch problems? But this was just the beginning of my horror, I was now told they don't have the parts here in SA and they must be ordered from oversees which will take 21 days to bring to SA :( Its now passed the date I was promised to get back my car when I phoned them, they now telling me that they actually don't know when will The parts come it might take another two to three weeks. What ****ed me more is how can they don't know. Now I suspect they just cannot fix the car.

The biggest shocker is that Imperial Select, who claims to be the ambassadors of FAW refuse to give me a courtesy car in the mean time, so I must just fold my arms and wait....thats what Ororiseng a supposedly " customer care consultant" told me.

So right now I'm using a rented car and that's an additional cost I have to carry on top of my monthly instalments since they refuse to give me a courtesy car in the mean time. Public needs to know of a headache it is to own an FAW vehicle.

The question I ask myself is this....if your car is giving me problems within the first year, what will the situation be like in the next year, and the following year....TAKE BACK YOUR FONG KONG IT'S POOR QUALITY....And this is not all the same car developed heating problems first first week I bought it and it took them more than 2 months to finally figure out what was wrong with the car..TAKE BACK YOUR FAULTY CAR.. PLEASE HELLOPETER ASSIST ME HERE..
