I bought a defy airconditioner inverter from Makro springfield durban in February 2017. they sent one of the approved technicians to install it and this guy Leon ********** 546 continued to service it etc etc. now i am getting a FF fault and this guys number is non existent. i looked on my warranty book and the service number for durban is also non existent. i eventually phoned the defy call centre to book the fault as its still under warranty on ********** 339 job number was created ********** last week 23/01/19. i phoned today and they gave me the technical number for Ashlene to follow up ********** which i was told the call centre did not send the email so i had to call and arrange that to find that Ashlene said the call out fee is R400 as they are not associated with defy and its warranty but defy contracts them out so how is this my problem. i got told to call a Tommy Gordon which is unreachable then i got transferred to a durban manager which was unreachable and a lady called Lynn said she would get this man to phone me after i told her my story and no one has phoned me. keeping in mind my warranty ends in February 2019. this is ridiculous and all i want is for someone to come out and fix the fault. i will never recommend anyone to buy a defy product again.
a couple days ago i went to the new musgrave branch and had the best pizza and sub and exprience. it was delicious. now i am sitting at work and we decided to order a take away. i wanted just the californian pizza and carnivore sub then the lady told me about the promotion and the restaurant was empty so my order would be quick- R150 for any 2 large pizzas, so i ordered - 1 californian pizza, 1 chicken mushroom pizza and the carnivore sub all with extra cheese and olives. when my boyfriend went to collect the sub looked much smaller than when we sat down the previous time and the californian pizza hardly had any cheese and it was burnt, the chicken and mushroom looked ok but it was also a little burnt and the cheese was only in the middle. we told them to make the californian again. its just ridiculous that no one is checking quality control and the restaurant was empty so they had no excuse. also we ordered early as we are at work now we have to wait longer and be late for work. someone needs to check the orders before they go out. not happy at all. laziness

on the 26/04/17 i went to red square edgars musgrave durban with my husband to buy myself a new perfume. i was helped by a fantastic African male who sold me a R1290.00 DKNY New York perfume which i have never tried before but the tester smelt really nice. this was at 13h46 and i proceeded home to get ready for night shift and i used my new perfume (one spray) while i was at work it made me feel sick and i had to wash it off as i was vomitting - the smell was just too strong i think but this has never happened to me before. the next day i went back to the store and requested to exchange the perfume for something else and an indian sales lady was so determined not to help me in any way and made excuse after excuse why i cannot exchange the perfume so i requested to speak to the manager of the store also a lady and she helped me and took my details and took photo copies of my receipt and photos of the perfume and said she would call me on Tuesday 02/05/17 once they have spoken to the rep. till today i have recieved no response and everytime i call the store i get told that the manager is on a conference call and i leave my details and nothing happens. this is ridiculous as there should be some policy with regards to this as we cannot know if we are going to have a negative reaction to something that we buy. i am not satisfied with the product and it is such a waste now as i cannot use it. i even said i was willing to take a tester in place of this perfume as i cannot use it.

This is solid oak flooring - wood is stunning but i cannot say much for the service of the Durban Branch and the attitude we received when the problems started arising. The installment of the wood was disgusting, the contract a company called classic floors and they had to come back 3 times to rectify terrible workmanship. the floor is still not right, doors cant close, trimmings/strips are not varnished, brand new carpeting damaged from the putty strips they layed down the first time.... yes i said putty. there was so many things wrong it was just heart breaking. classic floors even walked off the site the first time proud of their work which Oggie made them come back and redo. they just didnt care, so arrogant and defensive. The Durban branch doesnt know how to deal with such situations and my advice to anyone buying this flooring is to install it yourself or get your own connections because you will be sadly let down alot. so expensive that you would think you would get a professional job and assistance. good luck because you are not going to get that. you will even get given attitude as if they are doing you the favour by fixing the mess ups in your own home.
