I logged a request on a Takealot on 20 July, RRN-946a-320f. It was sent to SMEG who apparently repaired it and was told it would be returned to me. Two months later with such bad support from Takealot, I have still not received my blender. This is way over the 21 days, without adequate reason for me being without my blender. Their policy says, This process can take several weeks, but our 21 day promise ensures that once 21 days have passed from the date you logged your return, we will automatically credit/refund you the cost of the item. (and yet I have no blender or refund, I at this stage am not interested in receiving my 'repaired' blender as I have no idea where it has been sitting for the past 6 weeks,
I recently made use of Visarequest with a trip abroad. The reason that I used them was to ensure that I had no unforseen glitches and that all my visa requirements were met. Long story short, I was not allowed to board as my flight to Spain went via London ( and even though it was in transit) I needed a transit visa for those two hours. I was not allowed to use my BA flight as it went through London and they require a transit visa. When I called them that night from the airport, Mfundo was unhelpful and said the offices were closed. Which meant my booking was cancelled and I wasnt allowed to board. When enquiring with their management, they said their duty was to load my application on UK visa system and request an appointment, that they dont look at my flight information. (totally contrary to what the same company does for the Spanish visa, which they check flights etc) they basically washed their hands of it. both my Spanish and UK visa was handled by them yet they overlooked that I required a tranist visa. My R11k flight was lost and they said they were sorry for the inconvenience and refunded my R600 visa fee.

I needed to arrange a baby monitor for a friends baby who is a premature baby, he has been in ICU and Hight Care and as the parents have been at the hospital the whole time I told them I would arrange a video monitor for them for the baby. The advert said IN STOCK, when I checked the tracking, no progress had been made at all, not even left warehouse. I logged a ticket, no response, I phoned they told me they are sure it should arrive today or tomorrow, WHen I phoned again, they said it was on its way to Mr Delivery Northgate, I said im close by I will collect, I phoned MR D who said no its not at Northgate they have not even received all the stock in the order. If it had said not in stock, I would never have ordered it. Why did the advertise it as a stock item, and then when I query why it late, Im told they are trying to get stock of the item from supplier. They were not sympathetic considering its urgent for a premature baby, their response was as suprised as if I had told them Im waiting for a toy .....very upsetting. I now have to urgently ask friends who can help as Takealot or Mr D cannot tell me when the INanny is in stock and the baby comes out of hospital tomorrow.
