I purchased a Huawei Fit 3 in August 2024. In January 2025 it had a major fault in that it would start overheating and then power down when exposed to sunlight while driving. This was probably a battery overheating problem (and it might burst into flames soon). I took it to Huawei Service Centre Canal Walk in Cape Town. The service was pathetic - the service agent was on the phone to his girlfriend the entire time. Initially they had indicated that they would swap the watch, but later said it must be repaired. 2 1/2 months later they still have the watch with no indication of when it would be repaired.
Excellent service. Ordered an airpump from them on 16th April, and it was delivered on 19th. Machine was exactly as ordered. Highly recommend them for further purchases
I had contacted RSAWeb three weeks ago about the upgrade in speed on my Octotel and Openserve accounts. I have three lines. The projects department has not bothered to contact me about this in three weeks. I have been a customer for more than five years, and this is the pathetic service that I get.
Excellent shoes, real leather. Fits the wider south african foot perfectly. A bit heavy, but are good heavy duty shoes. Have now bought three pairs

I have a contract phone with MTN, and pay R419 per month. Despite the fact that I have plenty of airtime minutes (+200 minutes) and data gigs available, the network refuses to allow me to send a business card. This is the fourth time that I contacted various people at MTN for assistance, without anyone being able to help. Do not know if this is gross incompetence or just incredibly bad service. Am already on the phone with them for 40 minutes without someone picking up. Told me to change settings, but with same result as previous

Would not recommend using MTN - there are other networks around which give better service.

Faizal

Useless.

After being with MTN for 8 months, they stil cannot active my system so that i can send a business card.

Four long frustrating telephone calls, about one per month and still no joy.

Get transferred from Customer Services to Technical, back to Customer services, back to Technical, with each claiming that the other department must handle the query.

Rather use Vodacom
