I had an issue with them at first that have now been resolved. They are effective at what they do and they did help me get out of debt in a way that I would not have been able to do on my own.
Been having many problems since 2019 with this company. Paperwork net being done, Random dates on my NCR profile. Been placed under debt review 7 months after they ended the debt review process. Now 2 years later they threaten court action for money the claim I owe them after I paid them off in May 2020. They now threaten court action for services rendered from the time after May 2020 after they suspended their services. I have been paying my money directly. I had no invoices from them after Feb 2020. They do not respond to email, they blocked me on Facebook messenger. I CANNOT GET FEEDBACK !!! Yet, they threaten legal action for R6700 of money I know that I do not owe them.
Very bad experience with Optimum Assist. I had the event on 26 July and after a puncture Discovery sent me Optimum Assist with a flat bed truck to take my bike to get the Tyre fixed. From there it just went wrong. Bike was loaded on the truck and not tied down properly. Around the first corner the one strap came lose and the bike fell. R26 000 damage to the bike. Claim sent in on 29 July. I had innitial great response and realy thought all would get resolved quickly. All paperwork and photos sent from me to them as soon as it got requested. Today 4 weeks after the damage I am still no closer to have the bike repaired. Got told the money from their insurance (Outsurance) was paid to them on 20 August. 3 days later nothing to me. asked at 11am for the proof of payment to be e-mailed to me. It is almost 5 hours later and they cannot send me the proof of payment.

There is still no sign of the phone. How can this take so long? Is there nobody that can take ownership of issues like this? Like … lets say you do not have stock of the specific phone. Is there not somebody capable of figuring out that maybe you could offer me a different phone? It is not rocket science. This is basic customer service.

After midnight I get great speed <br />So .. it is not my network, it is not the signal. There is just too much congestion on the tower. yet you still promote LTE and try to get more customers.<br /> <br />Do you just more people that hates your service? Is the current amount of people that are not happy not enough?<br /> <br />Why can you not rather focus to keep the current users at least reasonably happy? It seems to me that you put in effort to drive customers away.<br /> <br />I really am not OK this time around. This will have to be resolved or I want this contract cancelled. I wanted this LTE deal so I can watch Netflix. Without buffering, I want the speed to be at a min 6 Mbps ... if you cannot get this ... this contract has to go. Between 6pm and midnight it is so slow that Speedtest.net times out. When it connects I get 0.82Mbps. In my area I was promised about 90Mbps speed. Give or take depending on the normal factors. I accept slowness from time to time. This is just useless to me. I got Netflix so I would not need to torrent series in the midnight hours. Uncapped LTE-A sounded so great. Then reality set in. It is extremely bad. Only thing worse is their lack of response or support. Twitter, Facebook, Email from their site. The call centre is a joke. I just need a tech to come out and assist. I am not being unrealistic. I do not expect miracles. I just expect 6mbps out of the 90mbps that was promised. This is a 24 month contract. It worked OK for the first 5 months. Now, as an IT tech, I cannot believe that Telkom can be so bad at what they do.</p>
