I ordered 17 x 540W JA Solar Panels from Geoty on 28 December 2021, confirmed the delivery to be 11 January 2022. I confirmed with the Sales Person, Andre, that the delivery will happen and he confirmed. No delivery happened on 11 January and they confirmed that they are awaiting the new shipment and will have it at the end of January 2022. I received confirmation, via email, that the delivery will happen on 7 February 2022, that did not happen as well although when I phoned the salesman, Andre, told me the truck is 2 hour away from Jhb and will still deliver the same day, which was a blatant lie. This carried on for some days with Andre until his senior, Albert Masango, got involved and promised me he will resolve it and I need to give him time until the end of the week, he will personally ensure I get the panels, again a lie and no panels arrived. In the meantime I had everything else installed on my house, inverter, batteries, panel support frames, wiring etc and had a contractor waiting to install the panels. I ended up requesting a refund of my money on 1 March 2022 and they confirmed they will do a full refund within 2-8 days, as I expected, after 8 days no refund payment was made and they still lie about everything when they do answer the phone. To this day (23 March 2022) I have received none of the 17 panels or the promised refund. Please do not go near these people, they are lying about everything and they are out to steal your money.
Want to say thank you to Mandy Manning for the service I received when I made changes to my policy. Your service was excellent, professional and still friendly and relaxed. You are a very good salesperson as well without being an irritation, well done. I recently moved to King Price after being with another company for a long time and the service I received from Mandy was refreshing and I am glad there are still people that sounds as if they enjoy their work and want to be there. Well done.
I have bought a 2013 Pajero through iDeal Drive in April 2018. I had very good service with excellent after sales service, Melande did a great job and made sure when I had to send my vehicle for the fitment of the tow bar that she lend me a vehicle to get around for the day. I have in the meantime referred people to her which also bought vehicles from them, all with very good report on their service. It is always easy to criticize bad service but we also need to reward good service. Thank you for the service I received and I still enjoy my vehicle every day.
<p>I recently moved to Pretoria and decided to support Dastek service centre as they promote themselves as a very professional company. I took my Jetta for an annual service in the 1st half of 2016 and it was found that the thread on the sump plug was damaged and had to be repaired. service was completed and I took the vehicle home to find the next morning oil leaking from the plug. I took it back and we saw that the new thread (Helicoil) was installed scew causing the plug to leak.</p> <p> </p> <p>As I could only bring the vehicle in during school holidays I left it like this and wanted to bring it in during the December School holiday. In December I wanted to arrange for the sump to be repaired but they were consistently fully booked and I said I will remove the sump and take it to the engineering company they wanted to use to repiar it but they refused to let me do this as they want my vehicle on their premises to arrange repairs on the sump but could not fit it into their program. There was no need to have my vehicle on their premises, I had to arrange with another engineering company to fix my leaking sump they could not fix.</p> <p> </p> <p>The second vehicle I took to them during 2016 was my Subaru, also for a service, when I got it back the invoice state that they charge me for washing the engine but when I opened the hood the engine had oil spilled everywhere forming pools, there were oil on the battery, the oil even ran down the engine to the control arm. I have asked them to use a specific oil specified by Subaru, which they do not have so they had to buy it for this service, the engine takes 5.2 liter to fill, they have only bought a 5 liter container of oil and spilled so much oil all over the engine that I am of the opinion that they have filled the rest with another oil. They have broken off the two plastic pins holding the air intake going to the aircleaner and when I opened the hood this plastic intake was hanging between the electric fans and the belts waiting for a disaster. I went back to them and they put in two new pins to hold the air intake. When I asked the mechanic (The same one that worked on my Jetta) why they do not notice things like this he said to me he has two junior mechanics working under him and they have done the service. This tells me that they do not inspect the vehicle after work have been done. I did send an email to them in this regard which was replied to that they are sorry for the problems and they will send it to the service manager which up to now did not even bother to contact me.</p> <p> </p> <p>Everytime I take my vehicle for a service I need to take leave for the day, I pay for a service and if I need to go back to them to do re-work due to poor service Dastek will not pay my salary for another leave day I have to use. My current impression of Dastek is poor, they do not have proud in their work and their customer service is poor. I will not recommend them to anyone.</p>
