I would give zero starts if it was an option. I have placed an order 4 months ago, with no outcome. I requested refunds multiple times, with no outcome. I have argued to not pick up my package due to Jeulia breaking service promises AND still went to check if it arrived at delivery address or post office...it never arrived, as they said it has. This place stole money from me. and will not communicate???
Today Discovery Health cancelled my policy unfairly. I was first done in by Elixi Health, where I had to cancel with them after finding out they are not a real medical aid then went to Discovery. Discovery - The company who does not consider the clients story and makes one up for themselves. Rosana Kinloch from Discovery phoned me today to tell me my policy is cancelled due to not informing Discovery of a health condition. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE INFORMED THEM!!!! I have went to the doctors for a check up, from where the doctors informed the medical aid as per procedure ( I found out I have a Hernia, DAYS after I started policy ) I am quite informed of what the FAIS act says, and I have worked in the Financial industry for some years... I know that I have to give full disclosure and I have made it a point to do so. Unfortunately Discovery's Rosana Kinloch manipulated my words and dates given through and I even told her "I know your job is to find a reason not to cover me". And she went as far as this : I told her I found out I was insured incorrectly in Dec OR January so I came to Discovery to sort the issue, as i need aid for my work. She blatantly used those words/dates against me on call to say that I said that's when I found out i've a Hernia...even though I've explained Multiple times I only found out about it AFTER I joined and paid Discovery in MARCH. (various things like this happens on call - Clear Manipulation) I mean I even had to pay specialist scans out of my own pocket...If I wanted to be dodgy I would've taken a larger Med Aid to make sure those scans were paid from Discovery. Discovery literally COST ME MONEY that I LOST. They have neglected their client and MADE FALSE PROMISES saying on call that "You will be covered if anything happens". Their employees are not fit and proper as by FAIS act as Rosana Kinloch clearly manipulates words to get clients cancelled...FYI the more they cancel the more commission these Reps make! No wonder everyone told me to avoid discovery... THEY ARE USELESS and DODGY. - Also, I asked Rosana if she had proof to give me on call for me being dodgy and reasoning for my cancellation. She was unable to provide anything other than telling me i am being cancelled. WHAT's WORSE is that I have now got a cancellation on my name, making it very hard to get new AID. Discovery has cost me money and threatened my Medical Aid future...I will be flagged now because of their Unethical Acts... I am wondering why they also promised me feedback a full weeks ago..but only gave feedback a day after lock down in SA is announced...I am sure they are letting everyone go now and making lies up to cover this... I am highly displeased by the quality of Discovery and will be sure to share this on all Social Platforms. You know what's great about Virgin Active? Absolutely nothing...especially the way they don't reply on anyone's complaints...it's legendary! Even when the try stealing from us like they usually do, they won't even say sorry. VIRGIN active sucks
In 2018 me. my best friend and my brother signed up at Vrigin Active at the lifestyle center (Centrion) Virgin Active. WORST MISTAKE EVER! In the sign up process I added my brother's and my contract on my account. The agreement with the sales person was that our accounts will only be used for the next 3-4 months (Starting January), as I will be traveling to Spain for work up to 6 months. The sales person handled our objections and stated we will not have any cancellation fee, we could simply stop paying and the account will stop for me and my brother(he noted it was month to month). The same went for my friend as he was only trying out the gym. ...The funny thing is, we weren't even shown contracts/T's&C's!!! only a little black screen for our finger print and signatures! Not even 1 mail was sent to us with the sign up details!!! Now it's almost two years later, and countless calls and visits to-and from Virgin Active since I got back to SA to resolve this, yet they have not given me any feedback whatsoever and still want me to pay the outstanding months of over R2000!!! I have explained the matter to them various times and the NEVER GET BACK TO ME like they said they would. Now suddenly I get a call that my account is handed over.... Here's the funny part....last month I scouted the same branch, and noted that the sales reps were pitching people the same bullsh** and also not showing them their contracts on the computers/on print!!! one word.. FRAUD! YOU ARE CAUGHT! and have various people to refer with the same problem! (just ask neh). So conclusion is, my credit record is *****ed. I lost hundreds of not thousands for jumping debit orders. I also do not have cash to pay them even if i'd like to...cus that's what happens after an armed robbery of R200k in Jan 2019 and you need to restart your home. Virgin active, take this as my 5th Hello Peter entry...and please don't also delete this one you FRAUDING PAPERDOC'ERS!
<p>I would call it false advertising if fnb uses the slogan "How can we help you?" BECAUSE that is exactly what they are not doing. I understand that it's the festive season, but for two weeks I have been calling my butt off with no answer- listening to the stupid jingle that keeps on playing. Honestly, you press the green button neh??</p> <p>I WANT MY DAMN MONEY BACKURGENTLY!!</p>
