I approached this company through a woman called Wendy, who responded to me via a query on a residential group. Very quick to respond to emails, until I submitted my documents and monetary deposit and I haven't heard a word since, despite numerous emails and messages through Facebook messenger. So we are a couple of R1000 less, and still no prepaid meter.
I used the internet link to request a quote. The representative came to look at what I required and promised a quote ASAP, either that evening or early the next day. Two weeks later I had received nothing. When I queried if they were not interested in my business, the response was that their system had been offline but they were back up and running and I would receive a quote ASAP. I'm still waiting. If the company cannot get it right to send out a quote, what is the final delivery on the product going to be like? Moving on ...

Having been advised via SMS that I was eligible for my upgrade with MTN, I went to the MTN outlet today to get my upgrade. The assistant started the procedure only for him to advise me that the application was being blocked due to a "collection error" which he advised me meant that they were waiting on an outstanding payment from me.

My account is debited monthly with the debit order coming off at the end of each month and my last once went off with no problem.

He then advised me that to undo the block would take 24 hours and I would have to return to the shop tomorrow.

Which is not convenient.

I then tried to call the call centre to enquire about this. 2 hours later and I still had no joy with any answer. Try listening to that VERY VERY VERY ANNOYING MUSIC for 2 hours!!

Why advise me that I must visit my nearest MTN store to upgrade if NOBODY can assist me.

I'm considering when my contract ends moving to either Cell C or Vodacom and upgrading with them.

I am SUPER ANGRY with MTN. My star rating is a -10 for them.
