<div>Good day Peter December 4-8 2019, I spent 5 days at the Protea North Wharf hotel, The stay was reasonably okay,with minor request like A/c not working and overflow of water from the dishwasher in my penthouse. By the way we booked 2 rooms over this period. Room 707/704. We checked out Sunday morning after breakfast, my daughter next day told me she left her specs in 707. Naturally, I called and spoke to help desk, they responded by saying they will let me know. that was the Monday. Wednesday I called and asked, why no one called yet and obviously this was now a different person I'm speaking with now. They responded by saying they would have to follow up and will get back to me. Saturday still no answer and then I decided to make my way to the hotel, Infuriated with this hotel for treating someone who collectively spent nearly R20000 over those days, I get to the hotel, the help desk officer is wearing my daughters specs. Immediately my blood pressure went through the roof, I was shocked, speechless. The lady names was ****, she never even apologized, she wiped the glasses gave to me and smirked as I left. Monday Morning I request to speak to a manager, the same lady who wore the glasses picks up the phone! she argues with me that she first needs to asses the enquiry before she can refer to a manager. I was so mad, she mad every escalate to another level. We had words again and finally spoke to the house keeping manager. I explain how unethical,unprofessional and how disappointed I am of how I was treated. Again I was refered to another manager called SAM. We had words and I had to explain the same story again. Sam said he will get back to me. Today is the 30 December, I called twice and still no one from this hotel has return my called. I cannot for the life of me understand why you treat any client this way. This protea group claims to be one of the best hotel brands in Africa, but treats their clients like this, take their money and then steals from them, I'm sorry that's a whole lot of BULL. Out of all the hotels in CT, I chose PROTEA HOTEL NORTHERN WHARF CAPE TOWN. Somehow i feel this would go away and nothing will happen, but sorry you need to think again. I gave you an opportunity to rectify this mistake and clearly, you do not value your clients, you think you can treat them like garbish, you obviously feel you can steal from them. I'M DISAPPOINTED IN CHOOSING THIS HOTEL. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE AND WOULD ADVISE TOO CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL. ANGRY,DISAPPOINTED GAVIN. </div>
Good day peter It's been nearly 2 weeks, the cavendish branch has not made any contact with me as they insisted they would. On the 30th April, my family planned to go and watched the Avengers in the prestige lounge. We got there and no one was there to attend to our card payments at 10.45. People were becoming frustrated and I thought i'll ask the one cashier on duty to assist with our line or at least rotate. She bluntly stated, she doesn't do card payments and i should do it myself. Is said to myself I wasn't going to allow this lady to undermine and embarrass me like this infront of all these people and decided to go the manager on duty. I went to the manager and found him chatting on his phone while people are struggling to get into the movies and still go into another line for there popcorn. I asked if there is no one else to assist us, hell said he'll sort it out. I'm waiting for almost another 5 minutes in the line with extra people in the line,his standing by some door still chatting on his phone while people becoming more frustrated and the the movie has started already. Finally at 11.15am some lady comes to assist. Just my luck when it comes to my turn the movie is fully booked till Wednesday. I was frustrated and annoyed,not only could I not watch the movie but was looking forward to it as I promised the family a day out on the one day I can be off from work. I requested a call from head office or some sort of correspondence, but i've heard absolutely nothing. I'm very disappointed in the service first of all,as you guys pride in making our experiences "a happy place" . Your manager was of no professionalism and not hands on at all to salvage the situation. No progress of any solution of how to keep the customer happy in anyway and trust me your reputation wherever I go is not of a good nature.
<p>I have never been so humiliated and embarassed by the service received from Telkom call centers and stores. From the very first day I enquired of my current contract not one store has made me feel valued. up till today i have been calling customer care and each time its been escalated to a manager. ive not received one call back and each time i was garenteed a response, ive complain so many times i have no signal in my home and logged so many queries, but not 1 technician has come out. i was billed almost doube for my contract and was assured a rsponse from Wassien Cassiem. i spoke to Stephanie, Zandile the supervisor,rosewill Cele, all of them promising me the same thing over and over. always no manager available and im really sick of telkom there service its perthetic and i really wish i never have to deal with this service provider. My wife ported her prepaid number from Vodacom its still not sorted. I really hope people would reconsider using this network as ive received no joy and wish i could cancel my contracts.</p>
