At 10 pm on 12 this eveing (12 Nov) I went to a SUPPOSED 14 HR DRIVE THROUGH to get some food only to be told at arrival that I had to come back in an hour as they were busy with stocktaking!!! The person that informed me of this was named Portia. This is absolutely pathetic and ridiculous. Why advertise 24 hr service and then this is the treatment you receive!!! I hope KFC HEAD OFFICE are also informed of the very poor service. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
I have bought from them a number of times and their service is very good. Items bought always true to the description and value for money.
The deduction date for my debit order for the last probably 20 years has always been the last day of the month. Cell C has now taken it on themselves to simply deduct the debit order today (27/12/24) whithout any prior notification. WHY?????!!!! the 31st IS NOT A PUBLIC HOLIDAY so there is NO EXCUSE why it could not be done then!!!! What of the 1000's of people who have not gotten paid yet who now have EXTRA AND UNNECESSARY COSTS deducted from their bank account because of this???? The audacity makes my blood boil 😡😡😡😡
Cellc in top form again this week. Have been trying to sort out an upgrade on my one contract since last week Thursday. Made numerous, very long calls and obviously speak to a different person every time. Also par for the course, every person I speak to has a different story and after almost a week I am no closer to resolving the issue than I was on day one. Could a Supervisor PLEASE CALL ME so this issue can be resolved??????
My son had a pair of glasses make at Specsavers in Langebaan at the beginning of 2023 with specific instructions that it was to be with glass, not plastic, lenses. The glasses arrived with plastic lenses and were sent back to replace them, which was duly done. At beginning of May the frame broke beyond repair and I returned to the Vredenburg branch is this is where I work and therefore more convenient. I paid what I had to and received the glasses back about 10 days later with PLASTIC lenses. I took them back immediately and, after first arguing with me that the lenses were glass, I proved to them that it wasn't and asked that they replace the lenses with GLASS ones. It has now been 3 weeks that I have been waiting for my already paid for glasses which I FIND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.!!! The branches are now blaming each other for incorrect prescriptions etc etc. NOT MY PROBLEM, I need my glasses!!!!!!
Last week I received a call from an agent informing me that I am due for an upgrade and he raves on to tell me about all the wonder attributes of the Samsun A33 5G. I* received the phone today only to find that he CONVENIENTLY NEGLECTED TO MENTION is that the phone only comes with a charging cable and NO CHARGER!!!!! How ridiculous is that????????? Now I am expected to go and buy a charged out of my pocket. To say I am furious is a very big understatement.
Once again I am fighting a losing battle against this company. I don't know whether I should cry of break something out of frustration. I have a contract as well as a pre-paid number with them and for 2 weeks now I have been trying to take out a contract on the pre-paid number. I keep getting told there is a flag on my account but nobody is able to tell me what or why. I can't recall how many call center agents I have spoken to, but it is a few dozen over 2 weeks. Of these at least 4 have PROMISED SOLEMNLY to get back to me within 1 hour, needless to say this never happened. I have driven 160 kms to my nearest CellC store with all my documentation and have hit the same blank wall. Can SOMEBODY in authority at this institution PLEASE get back to me so this issue can be resolved.
Once again they shine in their incompetence. I have been trying since November 2021 to finalize an upgrade but to date have been unable to do so. Could somebody that knows what they are doing please contact me ASAP
In my review earlier this week I complained about the pathetic customer service and didn't think it was possible to get any worse. Well...guess what.....IT DID!!!!!! I have been trying since a week ago to upgrade to one of their Black Friday specials, which apparently expirese today. After being given all kinds of BS excuses I was finally informed that my credit score was apparently declined but they could not provide a reason why. After many phone calls and unsuccessful attempts to reach ITC to resolve this matter I had my attorney investigate the problem. He informed me that apparently some sindicate had attempted to get a credit loan against my late husband's name (deceased in 2019) BUT THAT MY CREDIT SCORE WAS COMPLETELY CLEAR. He immediately sent them a copy of the death certificate. How my credit score can be influeced by a fraudulant transaction in my late husband's name is also BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION.!!!!!! After conveying this to a manager named Micheal yesterday I was promised he would send an email to get this cleared and that turn around time for this was 4 hours. This was around 12 pm yesterday. Well, needless to say I am still waiting for Micheal to get back to me with a response and when I tried many, many times to get hold om him this morning I was told he was either in a "meeting" or on lunch or whatever. I also spoke to a Wendall this morning and was PROMISED I would be called back before 12 today. Again, needless to say, NOTHING HAPPENED. In one of my many phone calls to Cell C this past week I told the agent that I am considering taking my business elsewhere as a result of their pathetic cusomer service and was very politely informed that I should go ahead and do that. To say that I a frustrated is the UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY. Could somebody at Cell C just do what they are being paid to do.....PROVIDE EFFICIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Once again CellC shine in their incompetence. I have been a client of theirs since probably 1990 and myself and my family have had various contracts with them over the years. Today I tried to renew one of my existing contracts with then only to be informed that my credit rating has been declined because there was a late payment at end of July 2021. Firstly - the payment is done by DEBIT ORDER meaning Cell C withdraw the funds from my account so if there was any late payment it was DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE!!!! Secondly, the 31st of July was a Saturday and to my knowledge debit orders like that are then deducted the next work day. According to my bank statement the payment was deducted on the Sunday, 1 August. So tell me, HOW IS THIS MY FAULT and is my credit score DECLINED!!!!!!!!! This mess needs to be sorted TODAY.
