We visited the restaurant at the Westcliffe for breakfast to celebrate my wife's 45th birthday. Given the hefty pricetag (R395 pp) we were expecting a truely splendid breakfast. However the eggs, pork bangers and hashbrowns served with the breakfast weren't really special (above average) but rather below average (a trip to M&B would've been far superior). The hasbrowns were fried to a dark crisp light brown colour in 'used' oil with a bad aftertaste. The pork bangers had quite large pieces of chewy fat and small pieces of bone in it. The freshly sqeezed fruit juices and pastries were good though. Personally I think the prices charged are exhorbitant considering the overall quality.

Ordered lamb swarmas which did not taste as good as usual. This however is not the main issue. We orderd the meals for sit down but there was no cutlery provided. The cashier provided us with some 'used' cutlery from a container under the counter with soapy water. The cutlery was promptly wiped with a serviette but thes cutlery was still partly wet and still covered in sauce etc. from previous customers in places. This is extremely poor hygiene and far below acceptable food standards.

We visited the Panarotis at the Clearwater Mall on 27 December 2016. The service was very poor and we waited a long time for our food order to arrive despite the restaurant not being as busy as usual. The food (both pizza and pasta) was not great either and well below normal expectations.

We visited their branch in Shelly Beach earlier in December and their service and food was far superior.

Great, freshly-prepared fish (hake), tender calamari and chips. Will be back for more ... Their frozen pawns was also great. They have a wide selection of fresh and frozen seafood and with good prices.
