I was dealing with a guy named JB (also named Jan). After I accepted his quotation and made payment, he confirmed the order and said that his supplier was manufacturing the gutters that I ordered. After that, the excuses started. After weeks of excuses and broken promises, he started blocking my calls. I sent him a lawyer's letter demanding a refund of the money I paid, after which he said he would pay the money back in 2 weeks. He kept saying that he is a small business with a family and a sick parent to provide for. He eventually disappeared, and I could not reach him or his company. His one number goes straight to voicemail, and the other keeps ringing. He is a **** Artist; everyone should avoid him and his "company."
Went to pick up a parcel at Postnet Ballito Junction Mall. Nonthle (she said this was her name) let out a very loud sigh and was clearly not willing or in the mood to help me. She picked up a folder, flipped through two pages and threw the folder down and said that she cannot help me. Worst service I ever experienced. Not willing to assist at all.
Re-activating your holiday home option is as always, a nightmare. A service that is supposed to be quick and easy, always turns into more than an hour on the phone to DSTV trying all kinds of options, from restarting the system to wiping down the smart card, with no success. I was on the phone this morning with DSTV Randburg and Durban to try and re-activate my holiday home option from 07:27 until 08:45, and my system is still not activated. Why they have the self help portal, I will never know. They advertise that you can easily activate and de-activate your holiday home on this portal, but it never works, forcing me to phone their offices. The only thing the self help portal is very good at, is reminding you how much you have to pay. This options works so well, that when I tried to activate my holiday home this morning on the portal, they doubled my amount due, and reminded me immediately that I have R 3600 due by the 7th Jan (When I logged in initially, it was R 1800), but funny enough, the package is still not activated (even after all the time on the phone to different call centers). I was also not aware and believe many people aren’t, that you have to pay an access fee for between R65 and R95 every time you use the self help portal. I fully understand why so many DSTV users are cancelling their subscriptions by the day. My reference number for the Waste of time service this morning is: INC/42360

<p>I had good service from Armand in the beginning. He said I should phone him after a couple of months, so that he can come and re-tension the garage door springs that he installed. I tried for 3 weeks via every possible channel (sms, whatsapp, email, website inquiry) to get a hold of him, so that the springs can be re-tensioned and for him to just check on other issues I am having with the door he serviced. I had one email response from him to say he will be able to see me later on in the week... This was 2 weeks ago, and from there on, no response on any of my requests. I can honestly say, worst service I ever experienced!!!!!!!!</p>
