PostNet SA
Based on recent customer reviews, PostNet SA presents a deeply polarised customer experience. While a handful of branches and individual staff members earn glowing praise for friendly, efficient service, the overwhelming pattern is one of lost parcels, unreachable call centres, rude staff, and broken delivery promises. Courier delays, lack of communication, and unresolved complaints dominate the feedback landscape, dragging every theme score well below acceptable levels.

Worse experience ever. Used their express service, paid for it and 3 days later I haven't received my parcel. Calling the store and the call center and everyone I speak to has a completely different version of when it will be delivered. I'm traumatized with the level of service received and how unprofessional they are. I will never use them again!!!

Postnet Bramfischer used to be excellent and extremely helpful, not anymore since they changed ownership!!! The extremely unhelpful ,its a flat out no from the assistant that I cant access efiling on their computers anymore and they scan and upload the docs on sars app. All the previous staff used to be able to do it. This woman has real attitude,it's not the first time she's been unhelpful and last time in the shop rude.

I am following up publicly as my previous complaint regarding the service I received at PostNet Paddocks had not been addressed or attended to for over 2 weeks. On the 18th of February I was asked by PostNet South Africa to send a DM so the matter could be looked into. I did so immediately and was told someone would reach out to me. Unfortunately, since then there has been no feedback at all, the silence is quite frankly deafening. The issue itself is serious. The manager at the branch, Jo-Anne, suggested that I pay for insurance on a high-value parcel but also stated that if the insurer did not accept it, the parcel could still be sent without insurance, and that no refund would be provided if anything happened to it. This places a customer in the position of paying for a service that may or may not actually be honoured, while also being told there would be no recourse if the parcel is lost or damaged. That is extremely concerning and, in my view, an ********* way to conduct business. To make matters worse, I was then told that I am not welcome in the store, which is shocking considering I was simply trying to ensure my parcel was properly insured and handled responsibly. I would appreciate a formal response from PostNet South Africa clarifying whether this is in line with your company policies and how this matter will be addressed.

Postnet Strubensvalley is so unprofessional. Their service is **********, they say their operational tunes are from 08:30 but they are never open on time. It's now an hour and their store is still not open and I am now late for work because I urgently need my package as I am meant to travel later. It's disgusting and inconsiderate of them. I advise people never to use this store. People have been turning back in numbers now.

I sent some bottles items up to Jhb from Durban on overnight delivery. The box was drenched when received in Jhb bottles broken. They were so well secured and wrapped to ensure they would not break and with plenty of fragile and do not stack stickers. They box was clearly dropped or thrown down to quiet this breakage. When I contacted Postnet Midrand the woman didn't even have the decency to say the box was saturated and just gave it to my husband like that. I refuse to pay this and demand a refund. I have pictures to prove the damages. If the box was handled as the stickers specified the goods would not have been damaged. I want this responded to urgently and resolved Thank you

Postnet is getting as bad as the Post Office. A parcel (very urgent, with insurance on it) was sent off from Bedford View branch on Feb 25. We still have not received it and they basically cannot tell me where it is. The waybill only shows it was created at the branch and the lady there guarantees the parcel was collected. But there is no record of it after that. The phone number on the website means nothing, the FB messenger only gets answered while your message is on the page and thereafter no-one cares about it. You are making thousands of rands and delivering worse service than the ******* and bankrupt SA Postal service. It's a disgrace and the SA public just do not have a solution anymore for the poor service delivery we are forced to live with.

Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.
This business's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Agent Quality & Customer Care. Named consultants are praised repeatedly for patience, friendliness, and going above and beyond. Words like 'amazing,' 'star,' and 'gem' appear frequently, reflecting genuinely caring human interactions.
The most common complaint, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Pricing, Premiums & Transparency. Customers appreciate premium reductions upon request but complain about unexplained annual increases, hidden excess charges, and debits continuing after cancellation. Transparency at policy inception is a recurring gap.
