This company handles medical accounts for my Dr. The medical insurance authorized the hospital claim and at the time of submitting the claim, Xpedient sent the invoice to the wrong email address and I was not involved, secondly, they failed to do a follow-up within 4 months and the invoice went stale. Six months later they sent me an invoice dated October for the service that was done in March and requested that I follow up payment with the medical insurance. When I did follow up, I was told the claim never reached them and unfortunately, the claim cannot be approved since is over 4 months. I went back to Xpedient to collect evidence of emails that show that they submitted the claim within 4 months. To my surprise when they sent me the email I realized the email used was incorrect. I told them the email was incorrect but I requested them to indicate the source of the email used since that is where the problem lies. To date they have not answered me, they just indicated that they will contact the insurance and get back to me. I waited until I sent an email this year to do a follow-up on the payment of the invoice. They took long to respond and today they sent me an email that says the insurance says is my responsibility to send the claim within 4 months. I mean with the other Drs which did not subscribe to companies that manage their account and claims with medical aid and insurance, I facilitated the claim and they were all paid but this particular one is different as they handled the account and the claim. They should have came back to me within 4 months so that I could intervene and surely I would have picked up the incorrect address and facilitated the claim. I really think the Doctor was better off without this service provider as other Dr who assisted during the operation were paid and this is because they submitted the claim to me and I facilitated the claim as they did not subscribe to this kind of service from Xpedient. This is poor service and misleading. It is not helping but creating problems and stressful situations for patients and Drs. PLEASE BE CAREFUL
