Most amazing company. I took the policy for myself and my wife a while back and never really gave it much thought since. My wife had a car accident 2 weeks ago and I phoned them expecting a bit of a runaround to happen. They asked to speak to the emergency services on scene and then proceeded to make all the arrangements. The issues at the hospital was sorted out quickly and she was seen to. The medicine I bought they asked me to give the invoices for and I was reimbursed the full amount without delay. They kept in touch and followed up constantly. The most amazing company and staff I have had the privelage to do business with. I would definitely recommend this for anyone to get.
I am very unhappy with service from this company, I bought a Bluechem .75kw pool pump about 2 years ago and before buying I specifically asked the salesman on the floor what the policy was on getting spares if the motor packs up after the 2 year warranty is done. I was assured that getting spares is as easy as coming into the store and ordering the part needed, this is NOT the case. They sell the product happily but soon as you go back to get spares you get told that they don't have spares and can't get spares so you have to buy a new pump. This is completely unacceptable as I don't see the sense in buying a new pump at R2500 when the only problem is a R300 part that is broken. The after sales service and policy is absolutely pathetic and I will never in my life buy any form of mechanical or electrical equipment from Builders again as they have zero after sales service when your product is past it's warranty period and only keep pushing that you need to now purchase a new item from them. I find this way of doing business completely unacceptable and would suggest that anyone wanting to purchase items from Builders take very careful consideration on the matter as you will not be getting parts after your warranty is done.
Pathetic service. Promises to return calls hardly ever get kept, credit for downtime never passed. Speeds are never constant, pay for 20mbps li e and 20 out of 30 days only receive 2mbps and they keep blaming old staff members and their service provider but still refuses to pass credit. Mr. Du Toit refuses to accept calls and is always in a meeting or too sick to phone you back. Most pathetic service provider you will ever find, service is evem worse than municipal and Telkom.
<p>MTN has now cleverly come up with a new way to make sure their "customers" use airtime even when they don't want to. First option is they use their bull**** free competition sms's - you reply and suddenly one day you lose all your airtime and when you query it you get told you subscribed to an outside partner and it had nothing to do with MTN - tested this 2 times and both times the only sms's I replied to was the MTN competitions and now the latest tactic is to "reserve" your airtime for data usage. So if you use your phone for internet services at all they decide to take your balance and "keep it aside" so if you run out of data you never even know it because then your "reserved airtime" gets used at R2 per MB. So check your balance regularly or better yet - move to a service provider that does not try to cheat and steal from the very people that make them successful. </p>
