Placed an order with eGadget on 3rd July with indication of 5-7 day delivery, follow ups on 14 July, 21 July, 27 July, 29 July, 2 August committed deliver but to no avail. On 2nd August attempted refund with 10 - 14 day refund. Despite follow up's on 15th August, 23rd August, 24th August and 6th September payment was not processed. On escalation on 6 September payment was processed resulting in payment occurring 26 days after cancellation, twice agreed service levels.
Shocking experience. Attempted to purchase a product with a. 5-7 day delivery, eventually after a month of empty promises I attempted to cancel the order. Eventually a refund was a greed, but now more than 20 days later my refund is no where to be seen with continued empty promises.
Terrible experience. Ordered 2 tanks for domestic use. Lack of communication and numerous failed promises, delivery has still not happened. Considering legal action to remediate issue.
In the world of Solar Geysers there are lots of options, competitors and solutions and it requires someone to stand out. I decided to go with UberSolar given a positive reference from a colleague and the comprehensive information provided. They were quick to provide a quote and confirm installation, but this is where it stopped. The solar system was installed without the controller (this was not shared up-front) and numerous empty promises were provided with regard to their receipt of the controllers and then the subsequent installation. A month later we still do not have the controller installed and there is still no confirmation of delivery. Knowing what I know now I would definitely have gone with one of the cheaper more proactive solutions and installers.
Signed up with RSAWeb based on positive reviews on MyBroadband. Moved into house on 30 September, with Lwazi assuring me that we would be able to activate same day. Follow through and communication has been shocking. Took numerous calls and engagements for me to get the connection activated. When finally connected it is at a speed far less than contracted. Despite escalations, response from lwazi has been apathetic, and despite requests to engage with management, Vuyo is yet to return my calls.
