Really full if "BS"!!! The customer portal clearly says Upgrade/Downgrade, but you can only Upgrade your line. Full story I upgraded for the lockdown and all was fine. I now want to revert to my previous package which is technically a downgrade. But you cant!! The website says upgrades are immediate and downgrades take a months notice. The call center support app says upgrades are free and downgrades from telkom are not allowed. So I have 3 options to cancel and re-apply costing me R250 for a new number and connection or cancel and return router costing me postage or cancel and pay for the router costing me R2000. Pathetic, fine print nonsense!
<p>So I phoned the number listed on the website which was only a cell number! And Melanie's voicemail came up witht he normal pleasantries and leave a message! So did! With one getting back to me for two days.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then I noticed that the number had a whatsapp account! So I messaged that and I got a response finally! I made a booking and asked for confirmation several times and promises to call me back.</p> <p> </p> <p>As you can see from the pic attached of my conversation. I thought everything was confirmed and that we were good! But on the day no one was there and no answer on the phone or to whatsapp!</p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks Melanie! For ruining the day!</p>
