The car caught fire in October 2023 I returned it to meyers workshop mthatha after it was fixed by them, told them that this car had an electrical issue and all i was told was that no its brakes and drums okay they know cars better than i do, fast forward to 2024 after keeping my car for 4 months and more, the car was returned yesterday 19/02/2024 after them saying the car is okay, 30 minutes ago around past 2pm on the 20/02/2024 the car losses power and smoke comes out again. I park the car and call Meyers about this issue which was what i complained about and after spending more than close to 30k with them not counting the number of courtesy cars i hired after they kept my car with them for 4months. Sisonke calls me and says that the foreman says there is no problem and I must come test drive with them am i mad to say there is smoke in the car which was not. I need this handled cause Meyers is taking me for a fool
Avis has been giving me a run around since 20 March 2021 regarding money that was deducted from my account but when I called to confirm my reservation they said there is no reservation in my name but money was deducted as the booking was done online..Fast forward I called them numerous times even sent my bank statement to prove money was deducted from my account, I was given a lame excuse that their central bank will return the money and that they did deposit the money in my account. it’s over a month now still no money in my account , I have requested for them to send me the proof of payment I have been promised it will be sent since last week, it now a new week still no POP and no money in my account
I logged a claim with Standard bank Insurance Brokers on the 22nd August 2020, till today I have not received my car from repairs because their repair department approved 2nd hand parts for my car, I have never heard of this now the pandlbeater cannot fix my car because they are waiting on pirated 2nd hand parts which cannot be supplied by whatever supplier Standard bank approved. Why would I be inconvenienced by this insurer who claims they are handling my claim but all they want is to rip me off and save on costs, what about my safety Standard Bank , it’s over 45days now and still I have not received my car cause I am sure you are still waiting for a Ford Focus to be on a Accident then you get their parts. I am not happy at all, why is my time being wasted while you are trying to save on costs , you don’t care about people or is it because I am a female and I know nothing about new or used parts that’s why you are taking chances. I need this resolved asap I want my car back as I’m losing money from hiring cars
<p>Had insurance with Santam to this date I have not received feedback. I had a staff policy and when I left the company I asked for the cover to continue I was advised that a new quote has to be done which I questioned cause the risk has not changed. Santam re-quoted me and the premium increased from R1299 to R2700 I told the consultant thats ridiculous and makes no sense cover is the same and everything, he promised he will get back to me cause to him it doesnt make sense as well. Till this day I have not received feedback from Jason I dont know if I am covered or not as Santam is not coming back to me. </p>
