Dis-Chem incorrectly provided over R5,000 worth of schedule 5 medication to my wife which was meant for a different person, which made my wife incredibly sick, for almost a month. The medication dispensed clearly states on the receipts that it was for Mrs Webster. When I raised this with Dis-Chem, they eventually apologised for the error (still getting the name wrong). All I asked for was a refund for the medication and they sent me an "Ex Gracia" letter to sign. All the letter was an offer to pay (less than...by my calculation) for the medication that I had paid for and then the rest of the document was not admitting that they had made any error (which they had as per the signed dispensary note), and then a further section, in which I was to absolve them of any responsibility for dispensing the incorrect medication. All this "Ex Gracia" letter was was a big Dis-Chem Cover my Ass letter. The attitude of we admit no wrong, and you need to sign this to get your money back, shows that the apology for the mistake and the illness that it caused was pure lip-service. Very disappointed, very upset with Dis-Chem and their attitude to their customers
I tried calling MWeb. I takes 2 minutes just to follow the voice prompts. I sat on hold for 7:30min listening to how important my call is before it was answered and then hung up. This is not the first time that I have had poor service. They were supposed to send me an email in Dec to ca cel the service, they did not so I have had to pay 2 extra months. I phoned them earlier this month and waited just as long and they still have not sent the email This is really poor customer service and I am not impressed and certainly will not recommend them to anyone
The service from Absa is very bad. In December I queried a deposit on my account via email. It took almost a month to get a response from then, and even then they did not give an answer, they just asked if the problem was resolved. Today I spent 10 minutes on the phone following voice prompts and entering details. I spoke to 1 person, who just put me back into the system and I have to enter all my stuff in again. When I eventually I go through to a human she was unable to help me as she was from the wrong division and wanted to put me through to general enquires. I said no, take my details and get somebody to phone me as I had now been on the phone for 20 minutes, with no help, other than pushing me to another department. I still do not know if there is a problem with deposits as I am waiting for money deposited in my account to reflect
<div>I took my car to we buy cars (southgate wheels) in July to sell (park and sell). I had next to no feedback from them on the car. I reduced my price, but they left the price the same. I reduced it again and it still did not sell, I asked what it was being sold for and was told R59.900. When I went to pick up the car the price was still the same at R79,000 so they had not changed it. I was told it had been changed on the we buy cars web site and not to worry about the floor price, but I could not find it at all. When I collected the car the Jack was missing, when I pointed it out they could not find it. They tried to replace it with the wrong Jack. So then I had to wait longer for them to find me a suitable jack The staff was busy running their own business and I had to wait listening to them organise things for their sideline</div>
My wife has been suspended from school pending a disciplinary hearing. We have struggled for a week to get somebody from Naptosa to represent her, and they have not provided anybody to do so. She will need to go to the hearing by herself. Naptosa has left her high and dry. even if somebody does call, then they have taken no time to familiarise themselves with the case and therefore will be unable to represent her effectively. Don't bother with Naptosa, join Cosatu or another union that has the interests of their workers
