On the 18 August I called Lafarge South Africa sales person to order crusher stone as I am building a house. I could not get the quotations due to the fact that Google search did not not show where my house is situated. They could see the houses in my neighborhood but that was not enough. I tried my level best to tell the sales person that my site is at the main entrance of that location but that was not enough either. I was told that Google search does not show any entrance. They wanted to see the exact place where my house is situated via Google. It is impossible for Google to show the exact house because there is no house yet as I'm still building a foundation at this stage. Hence I need crasher stone. The attitude of the Sales person was not good at all. So I decided to end the conversation before I could loose my cool. This was my first interaction with Lafarge and I was hoping to have a long relationship as I'm still building my house. Unfortunately this was my first and last interaction. Mzwandile

Good morning Sir/Madam

I was offered a Vodacom contract over the telephone in the period of past two years. The cell number is 072 512 3813.

The Smart Tab 3G Black was delivered to me on the 23 January 2015 by RAM Couriers. I look at the size of the device for the first time and I was not happy with it. I advised Vodacom about this and I was advised to return the device. I told them that they must cancel the contract because I am no longer interested. I would rather go to a Vodacom dealer shop and apply for a new contract where I will be able to choose the device I want.

Vodacom asked RAM to pick up the device from me and they picked up on the 29 January 2015 still sealed. After a couple of months I went to the Vodacom dealer shop and took a contract for the Samsung tablet, 10.1 inch. This tablet was stolen shortly after I had received it and I decided to wait for the next upgrade date(cell number 082 ********** ).

In December 2016, I leant that there is a contract which is due for an upgrade and I went to the dealer shop to upgrade. In my mind, the upgrade was for Samsung tablet because I cancelled the Smart Tab 3G Black. I only discovered in February 2017 that Vodacom was till deducting the monthly subscription for the Smart Tab ie 072 ********** . This was done despite the fact that the Smart Tab was returned and the sim card was never activated.

I lodged a formal complaint with Vodacom regarding this matter in February 2017 and a call was logged with the reference number 1 – ********** ********** . When I enquired about the outcomes after a month or so, I was told by the second agent that the call was cancelled and the reason could not make sense. This second agent logged another call where it was clearly stated that I am claiming the subscription for the past two year period ie R95 X 24 months (R2,280). New call was generated with a new reference number ie 1- ********** ********** .

After a month or so I made a follow up call of which I was told that the second logged call was also cancelled because they cannot pick up on their side that the device was returned back to them. The Vodacom agent I spoke with was Patience Theka.

I decided to call RAM Couriers to establish what happened with the device. RAM told me that they delivered the device to Vodacom as per their instructions and was delivered on the 30 February 2015. They gave me a pick up number ie V1P ********** .

I then called Vodacom to give them the pickup number. A third call was logged with a new reference number ie 1- ********** ********** .

After a week or so, I called Vodacom for a feedback. The Vodacom agent, Amanda Radebe, informed me that the complaint was resolved and an amount of R1050 has been refunded back to my Vodacom account. She could not explain how did Vodacom came up to such an amount which is lesser than what was claimed. She refer back the query for investigation again. No one has come back to me yet and it has been a week already.

I feel that this is too much and Vodacom is taking me for a ride so that I can be fed-up and leave this case. This is putting too much stress on me and taking my time which makes me fall behind my work target.

DESIRABLE OUTCOMES

Vodacom should refund me all the monies deducted from me in the past two year period with interest ie R2, 280 with interest. This refund should be deposited to my bank account NOT Vodacom account.
Reimbursed me for the time I spent making these follow up calls and as result I fell behind my work target.
Reimbursed for the stress and pain I suffered as a result of Vodacom’s negligent action towards its customers.
Apology from Vodacom for the bad service I experienced after being a good client for more than 15 years.

My contact number is **********
