Osman optical Northrand road, boksburg. Next to pick and pay towers. Went there to get rubbers for my sons glasses. The lady said they would order them and call us when they had them. 2 weeks later i followed up, was told the same thing. A month later phoned again and told the lady that it had been a month with no feedback. I told her that i was really dissapointed in the service. The lady then said that we didnt even buy the glasses from them. (got them from another branch) Then she put the phone down in my ear. I called back and asked to speak to the manager, she said her name was Lisa and she was the manager. I then asked to speak to her manager and she said well its just me no one above her to complain to. I then asked to get the number for headoffice, where she said there was no head office. She was so rude and arrogant. I then phoned a different branch where they told me that they would get the owner to phone me, up until this day i havent received a call from him. Never supporting them again with the way the "manager" treats customers. Shocking.
We paid for my 2 boys to do the rope climb . My little 1 was too scared to go so we didnt expect a refund as we were told before hand they dont do refunds. Which i understood however I asked them because my youngest didnt do anything and we paid if his older brother could do another activity in his place instead. They are not very accomodating or friendly. Last time i will visit them. Very unhappy about the service we received and also dont agree with their policy. No refund I understand but not allowing someone else to use the money that we paid, I feel is very unfair. SUPER DISSAPOINTING. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Their short term gain will be a long term loss as they have no customer services, their reply. Rules are rules simply say that they dont care about their customers. Refund was mentioned but NEVER DID THEY MENTION EXCHANGE. The way they deal with customers says a lot. They gained a couple Rand but lost a customer and i will never refer anyone to them.
HAHA, still no feedback. This is a joke , really. Service is Pathetic. This is just how they do business!!!!! Useless.
On the 18th of January 2022 i submitted a claim. On the 24th of january 2022 i still had no feedback. I then phoned them again. I was told sorry they will assign a new Assessor to come and inspect the property. Although i was under the impression tgat their turn around time was 48 hours. They should change it to 1-2 weeks, just to be safe. Another week later, still no feedback. On the 1st of february 2022, i had to phone them again. Only to be told that the claim has been rejected. Reason: due to lack of maintance. PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION HOW WAS I SUPPOSE TO MAINTAIN A HOUSE THAT I WASNT EVEN LIVING IN. i bought the house in august 2021 and was unaware of the problem. With the heavy rains the rooves started to leak. Now with each heavy rain my house and applicances get damaged even more. On the 1st of february i emailed through my complaint to the consultant , i was advised that a manager would contact me. When i phoned this afternoon the 2nd of february to ask why i havent received feedback , i was told that the managers are very busy and always in meetings. I will not recommend Ooba to anyone. Worst service i have ever experienced. They stand to lose a lot of client due to their claims departments lack of service and humorous rejections.
