I bought a new Totota Hilux from Rola Toyota Somerset West. The passenger head rest is ratteling. I tok it back to the them and was told i need to menton that when i service the vehicle. four services later they still say they will fix it. They then told me they will order the part and called me to come and fit it. When i arrived at the branch they told me it was a mistake, there is no part ordered. The service manager never got involved in resolving the matter and i am still waiting for feedabck almost 2 years later.
<p>I have a 24 month RED VIP contract with Vodacom. When I upgraded I received a Samsung S6 and was told that the phone carries a 2 year guarentee. The back camera of the phone is faulty as it cannot focus when I when I want to take photos. I phoned Vodacom 111 to check when I can upgrade and was told in my 21 month which is July 2017 and my 24 month contract expires in October 2017. Thus according to me my phone is under guarentee. Due to the nature of my business it is difficult to take the phone for repairs. I eventually took the phone to the vodacom repair shop in Somerset West main road and was told that the phone is out of guarentee since the end of May 2017. I told them that according to 111 Vodacom customer care it is still under guarentee. The shop then informed me that the 111 is not always up to date. Further to this when i booked the phone in I requested a quote on anew batteryas well which i was prepaired to pay for. The technician assessed my phone and sent me a quote of R4 270.00 to repair the phone. I then called them and asked them why so much. There answer was that whena a phone comes for repairs they, they check everything and quote on it. They now needed to replace the screen, charging port, camera and battery. I said well please just quote for the work requested and the lady replied that they fix everything or nothing. I am flabbergasted and want answers from Vodacom. </p>
