On 29 February I used this removals company to move my furniture. During the move, several of my items were damaged. According to the owner, the items were already damaged when they were loaded which was a confounded lie, drummed up by his staff. Beware of this company. Amateurs to say the least.
Never in my life have i received such bad service. I was told today that I cannot purchase anything on my account. I have an acc with Homechoice for over 10 years..and is up to date and they have indicated I cannot purchase anything. I am closing my acc and going elsewhere..i have spent so much money on this acc and always kept it in good order.
<p>1. Lodged a return on 22 May and received a reference number and was told that someone would collect the incorrect/wrong size order.</p> <p>2. After a week of not hearing anything contacted them again only to be advised I had to ship the incorrect goods via the post office for a refund. I expressed my concern sending goods via the post office but was told to do so anyway.</p> <p>3. I sent the goods via the post office on 30 May and was advised that it would get there in 2 weeks and should follow up on my return then.</p> <p>4. Called on 21 June to be advised that they have still not received the goods via the post office. Was also informed by the call centre agent that if the goods were not received via the post office I would have to go and claim! I asked to speak to a manager and continued to wait on the phone for 10 minutes and then my call was dropped. In addition the call centre agent kept telling me he could not hear me. Get better handsets for goodness sakes!!!</p> <p>5. This is shocking service. I have spent in excess of R5000 and this is the service I get!</p>
