Customer Experience Review: Struben Street Motors – Pretoria (Mayville)
I recently purchased a pre-owned 2010 Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI from Struben Street Motors (SSM) in Mayville, Pretoria, and I felt it was important to share my experience, especially because we, as consumers, often speak out loudly when something goes wrong, but rarely take the time to acknowledge exceptional service when we receive it. This was my first time buying a vehicle from a non-approved dealership. Previously, I only purchased Mercedes-Benz vehicles directly from Mercedes dealerships because I believed it offered better recourse and peace of mind. Naturally, I approached this purchase with caution. However, my experience with SSM completely shifted my perspective. From the beginning, the SSM team demonstrated a level of honesty, openness, and professionalism that is increasingly rare in the used-car market. Despite the car being 16 years old, it was clear that it had been well cared for by its previous owner, something SSM was transparent about and encouraged me to verify independently. What impressed me most was how confident and transparent they are about the vehicles they sell. They actively encouraged me to: • Research the car’s history • Conduct any external checks • Inspect the vehicle thoroughly, including viewing the undercarriage on-site This level of openness showed genuine confidence in the quality of their stock and deep respect for the customer’s right to make an informed decision. While purchasing a used car comes with the expectation of minor issues, SSM’s team, Rino, Pieter, and Bassie, made it clear that they stand by their vehicles and their customers. Their willingness to assist and go the extra mile reassured me that I had made the right decision. To the team at Struben Street Motors, especially Rino: Thank you for your honesty, your ethical business practices, and the exceptional customer experience. I wish you all the best in your future sales, and I hope many more customers get to experience the level of service I received.

I dealt with Keoagile Matseke (Keo) Momentum STI – Retentions and highly commend him for his professionalism. He has an excellent voice tone that is pleasing to hear from the other side, excellent knowledge of the products and proactive by emailing me while chatting on the phone as part of educating me as the client, by making me aware of information that I might not have known prior to my call, now that is taking proactiveness to another level. He understood my concerns, saved me time from having to explain the entire query, saving me money and prevented another client loss from Momentum. This gentleman is great at what he does and one can tell that he is passionate about the Momentum clients. Well done Keo!! Thank you, Solly Govender.

Ster kinekor Mall of Africa
<p>Just watched my first Imax movie(Transformers) at Sterkinekor Mall of Africa tonight (8pm) and it was my worse experience because I felt like I was watching in an oven...yupe, just got fried. Temp must have been around 30. Thats my first and last, thank you Ster kinekor...I'll stick to Numetro, they are cooler!!</p>
