I have been a loyal MTN customer for more than 10 years. This stops now. I handed in my iPhone 8 for repairs at the East Rand Mall Branch approx 2 weeks ago. The battery has been failing suddenly and I needed to get it checked out. The phone was 3 days outside of its warranty and I booked it in at the earliest possible time as I was unable to bring it in sooner. I hoped that they would at least extend me the courtesy of the 3-day lapse in warranty as that is what a reputable business would do in order to keep their customers in the long run. Anyways, I booked the device in and they send it to their repair department. About a week later I went into the branch to find out what was going on. I found out that the phone had only been sent through that day. So it took them an entire week to collect the device. Another week passed and I was phoned on Monday of this week as I requested updates. They stated that my phone was with the technicians and that they would send me a quote for the repairs. Even though I asked them to send it as a warranty in good faith as this is an Insanely expensive device that should not have experienced failures so quickly and surely they could have made a plan for 3 days out of warranty!! I decided I was done with MTN altogether and told them that I would be cancelling my contracts with them asap. I instructed the lady that called me to tell them to not go ahead with this repair and send it back immediately!! I found a repair place that quoted R800 to repair the phone and was eagerly awaiting the return of my device as I have now been without my phone for approx 2 weeks. I phoned again on Tuesday for further updates and the assistant manager phoned on my behalf and told me that the quote was rejected and they instructed that it must be sent back asap. He also told me that It would be within 2-3 working days. I phoned again today (Thurs 14 Feb 19) to find out if my phone was returned. They told me it was still at the repairs centre and I flipped out. The assistant manager then gave me the phone number for the repair centre and I phoned them directly to find out what was going on. Then they told me that they never received any instructions to get my phone back. So obviously I lost my...... I can't believe that MTN has so little respect for their customers. I find it hard to believe that despite me paying a small fortune on a monthly basis for a premium device, I get no premium service for this device. I am disgusted that they are hiding behind a 3 day out of warranty claim which could have been done anyways in good faith as I have always been a good returning customer with multiple mtn contracts. I am done MTN... you are pathetic and useless and you will not be getting any further business from me or my family. That is a promise!
Had the worst experience at this sad excuse of a pharmacy. My wife purchased a set of earrings at this place for R155. The earrings did not fit nicely and hurt her. We took the items back for a refund and they absolutely refused to take them back because they were "used" . How on God's green earth do you expect people to know whether something will fit comfortably without trying them on!!??? I have been a loyal customer of this place but no more! I will not set my foot in that place again. I have also laid a complaint with the consumer protection ombuds. I am sick and tired of companies treading over people that support them!
I did a Debt Consolidation Loan approx 2 months ago. FNB was meant to settle all my accounts as was discussed and pay the balance into my account. I just received an sms from MR Price which should have been settled by FNB saying I still owe them money. FNB lied about settling my accounts and they are giving me a run around. They completely short paid that account and now I have to pay the loan AND my accounts. Please know this. I will close my FNB account and stop paying this loan all together if you think I will allow this. This is such a dishonorable practice. I tried phoning to query the issue which is an utter ********! I will be reversing my last Loan Installment to pay my Mr Price account within 21 days. Please know I am giving FNB 21 days to sort this issue out so please use this as official notice. I will then contact the ombudsman to take the matter further.
<p>I would like to discourage people from buying from zasttra.com They can't keep to the scheduled delivery time as is listed on their website. </p> <p>About a week after the so called delivery deadline (NEARLY A MONTH AFTER ORDERING) , I emailed and phoned them to try and find out where my order is. I was told that my package was received in their warehouse and they will contact them to send it out for delivery. My ETA should be 1-3 working days from this point. </p> <p>Another WEEK goes by and I phone again. I spoke to a consultant who tells me THE EXACT SAME STORY AS BEFORE. "Your parcel is at our warehouse. I will let them know to deliver it" </p> <p>At this point I LOST IT!! Clearly somebody is lying to me!! When I asked to speak to a supervisor or a boss and I was told, "no sorry they are not available right now". Clearly a cop out !! I kept demanding and getting more and more irrate to the point where I lost it again. I then demanded for this consultant to give me his name to which he decided to hang up on me.</p> <p>I then phoned back and spoke to yet another consultant and explained the entire infuriating story again. Here comes the best part. I now get told THAT MY PACKAGE NEVER EVEN ARRIVED AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quite a bit different from the warehouse story I have been getting the last 2 weeks!!</p> <p>The lady I spoke to then tells me she will phone me back with more info regarding this issue shortly. </p> <p>When she phoned me back I got some more bad news. Now my parcel is going to be...... wait for it.... DELAYED ANOTHER 2 WEEKS!!!!!! SO IN TOTAL 6 WEEKS FOR AN ORDER that should have been 10 days!!!</p> <p>Clearly this is unacceptable!! They have offered me a refund to which I refused because I actually really need the Item that I ordered. I expect zasttra.com to resolve the issue by getting my parcel FED-Ex'd to me IMMEDIATELY. On top of that I demand to get refund for the shipping that I have paid sofar.</p> <p>So please stick with Takealot as Zasttra IS NOT a trustworthy online store to order from. This was the first and absolute last time I will do business with them.</p> <p>ORDER #42184</p>
