Mercedez Benz Polokwane (Mercuruis )the worst service we ever had our entire life from finance department. We get a call from a lady called Michell Tjaard that finance is approved. She simply just says "Mam you have been approved; can we proceed?" The question is proceed with what? she doesn't even explain what exactly this approval entails, what rates and so forth, we then told her to give us 5min we willbe on her doorstep so that we can understand discuss what exactly is on the contract, guess what? she vacated her office and came back 50 min later, we had to wait and waste 50 min of our life that will never be recovered regardless of us informing her we are almost there. On her arrival no apology nothing is just business as usual we get to discuss numbers and I left. This is the most arrogant/********* behavior one should never display as it put dealership on a serous reputational damage. On the flip side we had a seamless easy experience from sales department from Peter Bopabe who never disappointed us. He knew what he was doing, his service was exceptional and shows dedication and great people skills. From the point of test driving the car all the way to the last day of collection, all minor issues were corrected with little to no extra effort from us. This level of diligent is something we deeply appreciate and wish it can be spread across all department within the dealership.
Inquiry ref : CEB2103190204 Policy ref : 018030372 Please stay away from old mutual and their investments scams as you will never pull out from the deal. I took focused investment with them which I paid from 2017 till todate and is maturing 2032 but to my suprise I cannot cash it out, close the investment or terminate it whatsoever. I have read through the terms and conditions of the contract and it doesn't even state of such barbaric conditions of restrictions to access money. To my knowledge is actually illegal to refuse people with their money especially when they don't need anything to do with them anymore. The least was to issue penalties on termination rather than telling me I have to wait to 10 more years. I will definitely lay a formal complaint with NCR and other boards for this issue because clearly old mutual is now overriding customer rights by refusing to cancel the deal.
Let me share with you my experience with Miway On the 30th of October I was involved in an accident, the car was totally damaged and not drivable. Immediately I informed Miway about the situation and they asked me all sort of questions which I openly and honestly answered them. They then authorized tow truck to take my car to the panelbeater. The following day I received an email from Miway telling me that the car is written-off I should get them accident report, settlement letter from the bank if is financed and original papers of the car. I then went to the nearest police station to do an accident report, I also requested settlement letter from the bank together with the car papers then send them. On Friday of the same week I received a call from them telling me that they are busy with validations they will tell me the outcome. Friday of the next week they requested an updated settlement letter which I did send. Wed of the next week they called me to inform me that the claim is authorized and payment will be made before end of the week. As I type my car is fully paid up and I got the differences as per the retail value option. Overall the claim took less than three weeks and most importantly I have never send out any quarrel email nor follow up calls, they kept me updated from day one.
