I am a pensioner and disabled and was chased away by two men at 13.20 today from tygervalley where I went to apply for new id card.I showed him my application online for an online booking and took a screenshot with of what it said not allowing me to make an appointment online.I asked him.just to help me with my cellphone to make an online booking.He took my cellphone and had no idea what to do.I had to show him how to go to the website and then he said I must go to another branch and stand in the q as I cannot make an appointment on line.This is pathetic and heartbreaking.Where is this country going to.I cannot believe this but I guess there is nothing to do.
Protea Fisheries in Protea Heights next to Blue bottle store is BAD.Stay away.I have been buying fish and chips from this place for past 15 years but have not for last 3 years.Tonight was the second time in one month but for sure the last.The portions are not only what it use to be it is now swimming in old oil.I ordered grilled hake to get away from only getting doe and no fish but the chips was old and full of old oil.Dont ever go.to.this place.Go to Boulevard Fisheries much better and best chips.Its so so sad because Protea fisheries was always the best with biggest portions.
I contacted Vredekloof Car wash and spoke to Ilse wrt a full valet and engin clean of my vw citi golf.I explained to her that my car won't start if any water goes into any parts of my golf.She promised me that it won't happen and that they will take special care.She also promised me that my very dirty seats would be as new when they are finished.I was so surprised when I saw my car yesterday as it looked like new inside and engin spotless.My car started first time.I would really like to thank Ilse for an excellent job and will for sure come back in future for a deep and engin clean.
I just want to share my excellent experience at old Ralley motors and now engen Windsor park garage.I went a few minutes ago for a car wash first time at this place and since the moment I entered the garage I was helped by one of the managers on duty outside.He asked if he can helped me and told me the price and where I can park and plus minutes how long it will take.The wash bays were full but everybody worked non stop and 6 minutes later they started with my car which not even took 30 minutes.It looked like a new car.Thank you for excellent service and best price in the area.
Another bad experience at Brackenfell Hypermarket today.I bought an item and paid vat on the price they charged me.This price was actually incorrect and higher as the price on the shelf.After nearly half an hour waiting for someone to assist( video footage available) they refunded me the difference in price but guess what-they kept the vat amount I paid on that higher price.They called a lady Georgina who said she is the manager and that they dont refund the vat amount that I paid and that she cannot help me and dont know what I must do.This does not sound right and for sure it cannot be right Just think how much money pnpay is putting in their pocket everyday by not refunding people these amounts.I guess some people does not even think about this.I am warning all customers shopping at Pnpay Hypermarket who experienced incorrect charged amounts for goods to report this s that this can be investigated at a higher level as someone is getting rich *******ly.
I want to warn people about paying privateproperty in order to advertise property on their platform. Reason being that after you pay them and send them proof of payment they still deny receiving the money.I allready payed them on 3 Sept 2025 in order to advertise a flat to rent. I sent them proof of payment and after a few days they acknowledged receipt and published my ad. NOW a week later they canceled my ad and say they did not receive my payment and that I must go to my bank to sort this out. This is unacceptable and I have never had thos problem with privateproperty but something has changed now and I am very very disappointed in this service or non service and for loosing my R453.
I have been phoning out and wasted more than R120 trying to phone citiq urgently wrt a problem if my electricity suddenly not accepting my tokens since yesterday but they just don't answer the phones or the wattsupp.PLEASE what must I do.
I just want to report a follow up wrt the disability claim that is rejected by Assupol because they did not receive a disability claim form completed by me and my specialist.They never gave me this form on 26 May when I lodged my claim but only 3 months later.Yhe complaints Administrator Mrs.Ramelogopo sent me an email this morning saying that my claim is not considered because I did not supply them with this form.Up till now they ignored my questions and did not respond by explaining to me why they did not supply me with this form on day one when I submitted my claim.They Wang me to pay the specialist R800 to complete his part but on this form it states that I must attach documentation from my specialist which must not be older than 3 months when the documents I supp**** them on day one were older than 3 months.Why did they not tell me then that I am too late in submitting my claim while my policy has no timeframe in which I must submit my claim.The form wants my job description while I'm long retired and cannot see why does that have to be applicable to my claim.They want to know every cent that I am earning-what does this have to do with my claim.They have all my documenting wrt my disability and even their Dr only asked me for a letter from an occupational the****** explaining my disability which I supp**** to him within 15 minutes after asking me for it. Suddenly after this they sent me a disability form to complete. I WANT TO WARN PEOPLE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING OUT A POLICY WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE THEY WILL NOT CONSIDER YOUR CLAIM FAVORABLY AS THEY WILL FIND AN AVENUE TO DUCK AND DIVE OUT OF SETTLING YOU CLAIM-IN MY CASE IT WAS TO NOT MENTION A DISABILITY CLAIM FORM THAT I HAD TO COMPLETE. STAY AWAY FROM ASSUPOL.
A lady with the name of Bernadette Daniels went out of her way to assist me with my queries and questions I had.She resolved everything for me.You can really be proud to have her in your service.
I want to warn all people to stay away from this company.Those who want to take out a policy with Assupol don't.Those who still have policies with Assupol you might consider cancelation because the chances of them settling your claim is zero.I went to there office in-person on 26 May 2025 to submit my disability claim and a man with the name of Leon assisted me.He asked me for all my documentation which I supp**** to him.I asked him if there is any claim form or documentation I need to complete from assupol and he said no only the book that I visited the office.I never heard from Assupol again and again went to them in person in July and was informed by him that Assupol rejected my claim but that he cannot supply me with that email or letter.I sent email to Assupol on 19 July to a Mr.Jaques Erasmus who is the senior executive manager complaining about the rejection and also supp**** him with their definitions of disability and physical impairment on platforms they advertised.He then wanted all my details and said that he would send to relevant dept.On 19 July I received email from Administrator Malegopo apologizing and that my claim will be send to the relevant dept.On 21 July I hot email ftom Manager claims dept Mr J.Padayachy that my claim is rejected because it did not meet their criteria of total loss of a limb.I lost full use of my left arm and right hand due to truck that ran me over.On 22 July I complained to Mr Jaques Erasmus again.On 12 Aug I suddenly received an email from Assupol with attachment of a disability form that I must complete and also my specialist who treated me.It also states on the form that claim must be submitted within e months after being declared disable-meaning that my claim is late as I was declared disable in 2020.The form also wants documentation ftom my Dr's not older than 3 months-mine is older.The form also states they want my job description-i am long retired.The form states I must declare every cent of my income-what does this have to do with my disability claim.I must oay the specialist R800 to complete this form, which I will loose as it is a waste of time because of all the requirements mentioned on the frm.MY QUESTION IS WHY DID ASSUPOL NOT GIVE ME THIS FORM ON 26 MAY WHEN I SUBMITTED MY CLAIM AND WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME I SUBMITTED YO KATE-MY POLICY MENTION NO TIME FRAME FOR ANY CLAIM IN WHICH IT MUST BE SUBMITTED.NOW THEY WANT ME TO FORK OUT R800 TO COMPLETE A FORM AND THEN TELL ME SORRY ITS TOO LATE.WHY DID THIS DR.MPAHLELE WHO SEND ME AN EMAIL ON 30 JULY ASKING ME FROM EVIDENCE OF AN OCCUPATIONSL THE****** WRT MY DISABILITY AND WHICH I DUPP**** HIM IMMEDIATRLY NOT INFORMED ME ABOUT THIS DISABILTY FORM OR THIS TOME FRAME OF ASSUPOL.I SEND ASSUPOL AN EMAIL ON 12 AUGUST ASKING THEM ABOUT NOT INFORMING ME OF THIS DISABILTY FORM ON 26 MAY BUT UP TILL NOW I AM IGNORED.I AM NOT WASTING MY TIME OR R800 JUST TO BE TOLD UOUR CLAIM IS REJECTED AND THIS TIME ECAUSE OF TIMEFRAME.FIRST REASON FOR REJECTION WAS BECAUSE OF NOT BEING TOTAL LOST IF LIMB BUT AFTER I SHOWED THEM THEIR DEFINITIONS THEY SUDDENLY REFERRED IT AGAIN TO CONSIDER IT BUT NOW THEY CAME FORTH WITH A DISABILITY FORM MENTIONING TIMEFRAMES.STAY AWAY FROM ASSUPOL IF I CAN GIVE YOU ADVICE.I WAS DECLARED SEVERELY PHYSICSLLY IMPAIRED BY MY SPECIALIST IN DEC.2022 AND ALSO WITH SARS I AM REGISTERED AS SEVERELY DISABLED- BUT NOT ACCORDING ASSUPOL.I DID NOT SUBMIT MY CLAIM EARLIER AS I NEW MY POLICY DID NOT HAVE A TIMEFRAME AND I WAS DOING EXERCISES AND PRAYING HOPING THAT I COULD GET BETTER BUT NOTHING COULD BE DONE.
