Private property SA
I’ve had a very disappointing experience trying to rent private properties advertised here. On multiple occasions, I was told the property was “already taken,” yet the advert remained active for days or weeks afterward. In other cases, I was told someone would “check with the agent” and then never got any response. What’s concerning is that communication seems to stop completely once certain personal details are shared. This raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency in the rental process. If a property is no longer available, it should be removed from advertising. And if there are specific tenant preferences, these should be stated upfront to avoid wasting people’s time. Everyone deserves equal and respectful treatment when looking for housing.

Don't waste your time or money.
Been a returning customer, with all my properties. Listed properties on 'for sale' and 'rent'. After 2 days listings are still not active. Emails and queries go unanswered. All it show is listing is under review. Seriously paid R2k to have the same properties on my profile reviewed ....... again.

Don't waste your time or money.

Privateproperty-Beware
I want to warn people about paying privateproperty in order to advertise property on their platform. Reason being that after you pay them and send them proof of payment they still deny receiving the money.I allready payed them on 3 Sept 2025 in order to advertise a flat to rent. I sent them proof of payment and after a few days they acknowledged receipt and published my ad. NOW a week later they canceled my ad and say they did not receive my payment and that I must go to my bank to sort this out. This is unacceptable and I have never had thos problem with privateproperty but something has changed now and I am very very disappointed in this service or non service and for loosing my R453.

Private property.co.za is a ****
Do not use this platform for anything whether for renting or buying it is a ****,I tried buying a property through their site and I got ****med a huge amount of money.stay away from it.

Do not list on private property
I am extremely frustrated and fed up with this listing site,For 3 weeks I have been going back and forth regarding lion pride incorrect area listings.I finally told them to take this properties off their website yesterday and this morning a wake up to them re listing the properties.Private property is a **** to agents

Avoid Only Realty Frankie Bell's 360
Unprofessional as can be . Agent Ashleigh Walters has probably never dealt with people or an adult in her life . Pushing her personal life on us when we had to reschedule for another time . Why are you employing people who do not have cars and complain about petrol ? Her whole attitude is disgusting for an agent employed to do her job. No wonder the ratings are as it. Rather be something else in life that you enjoy and be professional in or at least know how to speak to adults . STOP HIRING KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst experience with an agency and agent and that says a lot ....

The client service is very quick and good. However, 1. Private property by name only - most of the adverts are by agents, 2. Not allowing videos for private advertisers, requesting extra payments. 3. Not allowing pictures on the profile for private advertisers
