Have been with Mweb Fibre for over a year now and haven't experienced issues until this week. We are able to connect to the internet, but have no internet available. We tried contacting Mweb but due to their incompetence they entered the incorrect cellphone number for us as the OTP verification. This results in us unable to get verified for assistance. We managed to bypass their system by selecting we are a new customer and was able to speak to a technician. The first technician informed us that the IP address had expired and he created a new one and all we would need to do it reboot the router. After trying this nothing happened at all. We called back and the second technician said he would reboot on his side. No surprise that nothing happened again. The third technician was rude and informed us she would not be able to log an issue due to us not having an OTP pin. I informed her that this was not our fault since they had the incorrect number for us. They then sent forms to us to complete to change the OTP pin. It's been a week now since we have no internet. I sincerely hope Mweb fixes this issue and refunds us for this disappointing service
Kindly note i placed an order and made payment online during a sale period, i after querying why i could not view the status of my order, i was notified that there was a glitch with the system. this matter has been resolved but the speedy responses and customer care was excellent, furthermore i phoned their offices and the phone was picked up immediately. Although i didn't receive compensation, i did receive my refund immediately. thank you for the speedy responses and refund
<p>I purchased my phone is October 2016. My phone was sent for repairs in February due to a cracked screen, have still not received my phone. I requested for my claim to be cancelled last month and my phone returned, the consultant at the insurance department notified me there will be a fee to return my phone. I have still not received banking details which i continously requested. Furthermore i am being charged every month for a device i am unable to use.</p> <p> </p>
