My brother was admitted to hospital on 3rd July, been discharged already. He was in ICU and on a ventilator. Discovery declined his authorisation because they wanted a PMA form to be completed by his treating Dr. The Dr completed the PMA form, now they still declining the authorisation as they want the GP to also fill in a PMA form and they doing a whole investigation into my brothers medical history and all his accounts have been rejected. His been on this medical aid for over 2 years now, pays his membership every month and Discovery is treating him like a ******** refusing to pay his accounts and his hospital stay. I want this sorted out asap.
This must be the worst company a person can deal with. I have been phoning them since Monday the 8th to sort out a PMA form that they need to send to a Dr. Till now still no PMA form has been sent out. My brother is lying in hospital on a ventilator, Discovery has declined his authorisation because they want the Dr to complete the PMA form, which is totally irrelevant, he has a medical aid and therefore they should authorise his stay irrespective of whatever condition he has. It is not my responsibility to phone Discovery and sit on the phone for hours with them while they tell me they are sending out the form to the Dr, and the Dr does not receive any form. I was on the phone with them EVERYDAY this week, yesterday the agent confirmed the form was sent out, she gave me some strange address she sent it to, i said no, here is the Dr's email address, she took the address and said she has sent it to the DR, i have just phoned the DR and he has still not received any form. I want this matter sorted out NOW. YOU PEOPLE MUST BE THE MOST PATHETIC AND USELESS COMPANY ONE HAS EVER GOT TO DEAL WITH. Please train your agents properly. I have consent on my brother's medical aid so i am able to transact on his policy.
Please be aware of this company, a lady goes by the name of Alice, they are a bunch of ****mers! PI firm specializing in infidelity, they promise you the world, they can do all sorts of things to help you, R8000 later and she has not delivered ANYTHING. This company needs to be closed down, she is ****ming people of their money and just making false promises. Please be very careful not to deal with her.
Every month I have miscellaneous charges on my account, I have tried calling numerous times and no answer, I have sent loads of emails, only to get a reply "please come visit our walk in centre for clarity on your account" I have never in my life dealt with anyone more incompetent in my life. They are there just to take our money every month to enrich themselves in bonuses. I'm so sick of this pathetic service that we seem to get just about everywhere.
Please don't do business with this company, the owner Freddie came to my house, he was meant to have done renovations/waterproofing in the garage, painting etc. He sent me the quote and wanted 60%, kept on asking for the money, wanted to start the job ASAP, I paid him the money and he was gone, R9000 later and he was gone. This man is a thief, for anyone out there please don't do business with his.
<p>I posted a review on 1/8/2017 and received an email from Telkom saying " We so sorry for your experience, and thank you for bringing this to our attention" Is this just a standard email that gets sent out to everyone that complains? I've called in 3 times since the 1/8/2017 and all that the call centre agents tell me is that "the matter is being investigated by our technical team" There is nobody in the technical team that one can talk to, nobody in the complaints department that one can talk to and no managers around that one can talk to. All I must do is sit back and wait, maybe one day my query/complaint will be addressed. Case number ********** 3</p>
<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>I am very unhappy with the horrific service that I have received from Telkom mobile and thus have requested a cancellation form to close this contract. I need a senior person to look into this matter urgently for me.</p> <p> </p> <p>My husband upgraded this contract in November (I stand to be corrected)we didn’t have any problems prior to that but after the upgrade it has been a total nightmare. When my husband upgraded he told the consultant to that he only wanted to pay the contract fee of R139 a month as this contract is being used by my 12 daughter, we don’t have money to pay more for it, the agent agreed. The first month went buy and we paid something ridiculous like R800-00 (I stand to be corrected I can’t remember what it was exactly) My husband called in December and the agent said that the account was not set on a fixed amount, my husband told the agent once again, that this cell phone contract was being used by our 12 year old daughter, he asked the agent what the contract consisted of, the agent said 500MB, my husband said fine, once she reaches the 500MB that’s it, block it at 500MB as we only paying R139 for the contract we can’t afford to pay more. Next month came it was still not done, we paid again a huge amount, I phoned and spoke to the agent, finally after the 3rd time calling it was set in place. We have been paying R139-00 for the past couple of months with no problems. </p> <p> </p> <p>This month my husband’s account was debited with R1739-00, I phoned in and the agent would not help me, my husband called in and spoke to a Desmond, he told my husband that my daughter was buying data, I got home and I scolded her, I received the itemised billing and nowhere could I see that she was buying data. I waited for my husband to come home and I called back. I spoke to another lady and she said to me that my daughter was not buying data, these costs are OUT OF BUNDLE rates????????????????????? If I told you guys to block her account at 500MB how is she using out of bundle rates? This agent says to me that I have to go onto the Telkom website and block the account myself. NEVER once when I called in in the past did anyone tell me this. I told this agent that I was going to take this matter further and she said that they did send a sms saying that this is out of bundle charges. You sent an sms to a 12 year old, she does not understand what are out of bundle rates. If the internet is freely available to use she is going to use it.</p> <p> </p> <p>One more question, the previous months the internet cut out at 500MB as you only charged me R139 a month all of a sudden June and July R1739 and July R3000????????????? I’m sorry but someone on your side has stuffed up. I AM TELLING YOU NOW THAT I AM NOT LIABLE FOR THESE COSTS. YOU WILL RE-IMBURSE ME R1739 AND I AM PUTTING A STOP ORDER ON THE R3000.</p> <p> </p> <p>You have messed up, I told you over and over on all the phone recordings that this contract is being used by my 12year old daughter, I told you over and over to block the account, that I don’t have money to pay for it and I can only pay R139, go and pull all of my calls made to you. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have never in my life dealt with a more pathetic service provider, I want this investigated, I am covered, you have my call recordings, I told you over and over to block the account on that certain limit, your agents didn’t tell me that I must do it myself, they confirmed that it was done. I will NOT carry these costs.
