I supplied this company with all the documents needed to renew my licence, as well as payment, on 28 Feb. I have still not received my renewed licence. They are now ignoring my emails.
6 weeks ago, when it looked as if things have settled wrt Covid, I booked 2 Safair tickets to visit my mother in Jhb. I paid extra for the “life happens” option, because it’s 2020, and Covid is unpredictable. So, as you know, Covid is playing havoc again. Matriculants that have been to rages, and who knows who, are everywhere.....possibly right next to you on the flight...as in touching arms close! There is no ways that I am getting on a plane now, and exposing myself, and my 86 year old mother...and fortunately I paid extra to be able to change my flights or get a voucher. WAKE UP CALL!! I can indeed change my flights, or even cancel for a refund. It just involves an admin fee of R300! PER PERSON, PER FLIGHT!!! So, 2 return tickets, that cost R3 200, will incur an admin fee of R1 200. That’s a third of the total value of the booking!!! No mention of this fee when you select the “life happens” option. I play devils advocate, and ask what if I have been exposed to Covid. No problem, if I get a dr’s note, confirming that I need to isolate, I can get a full refund.......with a R300 p/p p/flight admin fee! In other words, SAFAIR would rather that you fly in their planes if you have been exposed, exposing ALL the other passengers, than give you a (true) refund. All the more reason NOT to fly with them!!!
In August 2018 I discovered that Telkom have billed me for 2 lines, instead of one, from August 2017. I logged a dispute in August 2018. In November 2018, they credited me for 3 months (instead of a year and 3 months). The agent that logged the dispute, incorrectly indicated that the double billing was from August 2018, instead of August 2017. I therefore logged another dispute on 14 December 2018. I have escaled the issue 3 times already, with absolutely no feedback or response from Telkom to date. As a result, my service have been suspended, even though there is a dispute on the line.

Truworths in Tygervalley Centre, refused to take an item back, because I did not have the slip anymore. The garment is brand new, with the tag still on. The cashier, and later the supervisor refused point blank to take the garment back. I explained that I understand that they can not refund me, but surely they can give me a voucher. He told me, with a very nasty attidute that he does not make the Truworths rules.

Is this not against the law?
